My apologies to FFR and anyone else active in my group for the lack of RPing, work has been keeping me busy at stupid hours of the day so I'm not particularly full of inspiration. I'll try to get something done for the playoffs, if Liventia qualifies.

And its Gor Kebab with the big win to send the Vangazi to the playoffs. Gor Kebab had a decent season in some ways.

You kinda have to feel sorry for Banija based on the record in the groups, because based on record alone I'm the 4th best team so far, but I'm seeded 10th

but we know anything can happen so lets wait and see for the playoffs.

Assuming its correct, its close to, if not ties, the record of being a 17-inning game. Anyone confirm that?

I'm pretty sure there was a game that went 22 or 23 innings several WBCs ago.

Due to the downtime on the website today, around the key time near the RP cutoff, the schedule is being pushed back one day.
Yes, I realize it was just one game going to be played today, and yes, I realize most of us have been off for a few days, but I have to be fair for the two team involved in the big game 5. Had they both RP'd, I would cutoff now, but I don't think that's the fair thing to do.

Note: In need for a 3rd party scorinator for my games. TG if interested.

Look forward to having you back, you were a great roleplayer. I know you wanted to get further but this format was tough for a first-timer, and you did quite well with it. We generally do this every 3-4 months or so.

I'm enjoying this giving myself (and multiple others) fodder for RPs. It's nice to have a villain to run a story with - even if that villain happens to be one of my players. Especially so when his attitudes are the polar opposite of me. (Except for the respect factor, obviously. I have great respect for Cass and the others my pitcher has insulted.)

Didn't realise the first games were tonight; would have done an RP otherwise. Guess that's what I get for assuming rather than actually checking the dates.

EDIT: Also wow @ Banija result.

It's nice to have some interactive RPing, but yurgh, his bickering with Ihawa went off in a gross direction...

True. That's a very fine line to try to keep from crossing, even more so when its not one's normal personality. Still thinking on how/whether to work the "mental illness" angle in.

It's clear enough that it's IC. I think he'd be offended by the suggestion that he's mentally ill, regardless of whether you decide to play it that he actually is.
