ALSO: A discussion I would like to bring to the group. When we added the HOF amendment to the WBC constitution, we decided that it would be unconstitutional to combine the HOF point totals of Free Republics and Ilyseum (FFR's puppet), since Ilyseum was officially used as a puppet nation, rather than a main nation, but I was starting to reconsider, because otherwise, FFR would not get credit for co-hosting WBC 37, and that does not seem right. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm personally in favor of keeping the current rule, and keeping the HOF an IC institution.

Yes, Ilyseum was officially entered as a puppet, while Saintland was the main nation. :/ It doesn't seem right, but according to the constitution, they should be counted separately.

They should be counted separately. I supported the Hall of Fame on the basis of it being an IC institution celebrating nations, not the users behind nations. If you make it as a hall of fame for the users of the nations, in IC terms that completely defeats the realism around the HoF. I would not be able to recognise or support any Hall of Fame within an OOC perspective. The HoF should remain completely IC.

They actually can be combined because the rank was cared by both nations, so as far as the WBC is concerned, they are basically the same.

It is my understanding, and it appears to be the wishes of the user in question, that Free Republics and Saintland should not have their HoF points combined. Due to my understanding of how Free Republics has RP’s these entities in the past, they do not seem to be combined. We can discuss this for the next week, and a new vote can be held, if it is determined that they should be combined, for this user.

In the meantime, please vote “FOR”, “AGAINST”, or “ABSTAIN” for each of Lycrabon and Sangti. Send this vote also to my puppet, West Pocono, by March 15th (Thursday) at 8pm EDT.

Pretty much this. Do keep in mind you only won 16 games and missed the playoffs; the formula is a team's total number of wins divided by the amount of games played by the team who played the most games, which is usually one of the championship teams.

So while this may have been a disappointing result for this WBC, next WBC you'll be set up better and be able to make an even bigger splash. With any luck you'll make the playoffs.

Why is me not higher?

For someone who just played their first season and did not make the playoffs, it is expected that you would be pretty low still. The way to improve your rank is by participating in 3 seasons and RPing as much as possible so that you get lots of wins.
