Also, does anyone know how to copy and paste a list of competitors into xkoranate, or does it have to be done manually?

I always do it manually but there might be a way to copy and paste.

It'd be really helpful if there was a way. I'm trying to scorinate the Olympic competitors in a cycling event to test the program out, but I don't want to enter 88 nations manually.

I know there's a format that makes it rather easy to enter people, like you can copy it in from a notepad doc or text, you'll have to ask someone like Kry for it because I know he asked somepeople to use it for the olympics to save on the work on his end.

Yes. On the "set up groups" tab there should be a dice button; click the group you want to randomize, and then click the dice.

No, I want to add 11 groups of 8 participants, however my document is in alphabetical order and it would take to long to manually add each nation to each group in a semi-random fashion, so what I want to do is add random nations to the group.

So you see the max skill setting? Set that to the highest possible figure that one can reach with highest ranking coefficient + maximum RP bonus.

In the individual skill setting, you put in their ranking coefficient, PLUS, their RP bonus to make it their skill setting. In which it'll come down to whether or not you've got the 3Rs of hosting balanced...Role Play, Rank, and Randomness.

So I'm using Windows, don't know how different this is for other people, but here's my basic outline.

-Download and unzip. (Sounds easy but I spent way too long stuck on this step!)
-The 0.3.2 release begins for me with a "bonuses" screen...

Thank you SO much for this!!! I'd just started using a scorinator, and 24 hours later, I have it down pat, thanks to this! :)

I tried that all it did was randomize the teams in a one league.

Enter all of them into a single group first, randomise them, then take however many you need from the top/bottom and put them into a new group. Surely that works.

Set laps to 1, lap record and variance very high. BAM! Instant rally race. Wasn't hard if you'd open xkoranate and tinker with it.

Possibilites:
1. Try to find an event that puts out similar results to the event you are trying to create. For example, the NS Beach Football Cup uses the baseball function, if I remember correctly. (I'm not entirely sure why, but I suppose beach football tends to be higher-scoring than normal association football, so final scores would be more likely to resemble baseball scores.)
2. Politely ask Commerce Heights to add that into the next edition of xkoranate, whenver he gets around to updating it. (not very likely, tbh)
3. Make your own scorinator for those specific events. (Some programming knowledge will likely be required.)
4. If worse comes to worse, you can always use a regular random number generator. It's genreally frowned upon on NSStates, but as your insistent nature seems to show, you don't really care about what is held to be 'normal' in NSSport. (Which is perfectly fine; we're just people on the internet with smugly held opinions on how our web communities aught to work.)

Ninja edit: Or do what Saugeais said, which fits into my first bullet point.

When scorinating a reasonably small Road race (with say, 35 pariticipants) is there any way to reduce the number of DNFs, because each time I scorinate it, it gives me 7,8,9 DNFs
