St Saratoga should have a GD of -4. What has happened here? New scorinator issue?

Exactly that. I will fix it right away.

A note on this: I plan on writing a table gen for Kalactinator and a round robin version which will be released hopefully before the next WLC which should make it a lot easier to use.

One thing about the overtime function: Most overtimes at the levels I've been associated with (high school, college, and pro) have used sudden victory overtime (sudden death in other sports).

Any idea why this doesn't happen here?

Also is it just me or is every single score (except those in overtime) even?
Is there a reason for this?

My lacrosse knowledge is a bit limited so I don't know if this is on purpose

Both xkoranate and Kalactinator use a overtime period, no idea why we can’t have sudden death though.

Well, Kohn is actually right. For some reason Kalactinator is producing an even score for every game that ends in regulation. I’ll have to look into this, there should be no reason why this happens in the scorinator.

That may be true, but extremes of odd vs. even scores aren't something that warrants extensive discussion the way something like extreme predictably or bugs in results would.

That's where I was going.

I would like some response to the question I raised about overtime.

Perhaps 8) I set up that post as a scouting report on the Vangazi, showing ways to beat them. It should help give ideas on what could have gone wrong. I saw my next opponent wrote about scouting, so I listed a few potential keys to victory. I might link to it in my bio.

I could definitely code a sudden death OT mode into Kalactinator for the next release if everyone wants it.

Hey Cass,

If you want something IC you can use to respond to my characters, I can name the people I had in mind.

Though to be honest, the only person I specifically thought of to react was Bill Harbour, and he's the top assistant.

Just throwing an idea out there if Cass decides to fire Cortez. I'm going to dump Harbour as my top lieutenant and I might be interested in hiring her as Harbour's replacement.

Obviously if Cass wins the title it's a moot point.

congrats to the final 4, and apologies for not putting in a better effort over the last few days. Having my laptop commit hari-kari has put me off balance a bit. I was smart enough to backup all of my NS stuff (and other personal files), but I'm in limbo at the moment b/c my even older desktop is not ideal for our 2021 RL world, much less NS.

A deserving Final today  Both of you guys have RP'd very well! And this is has been a well RP'd tournament in general- I can't remember any WLC I've been in getting pass 100 posts, so kudos to all, and to Sylestone for running the tournament effectively.

Good luck to Fleft & Cass!

I'm very happy with the way this tournament has been RP'd, especially seeing it make it to 100-plus posts while taking place during a World Cup.

Well done to Sylestone as host, and congrats to both players in the finals (and the 3PPO teams as well)!

I've RP'd dismissing my top assistant, so I can take applications for my No. 2 job via TG.

Also, to put my president's hat on, a reminder that the next WLC marks the final one during my presidential term. If you're interested in throwing your hat in the ring for the Presidency, you might want to start thinking about it now.

And there we are! Congrats to Abanhfleft for yet another lacrosse win, and commiserations to Cassadaigua and everyone else.
From what I've seen and heard, to get 100+ posts in a WLC tournament is a superb feat, and it was great to read every single one of them. Hosting the tournament was very enjoyable due to this, so a big thanks to all of you consistent RPers out there.
I think using Kalactinator was relatively successful, although there are probably a few changes that need to be made, such as removing the only even goals bug (which I understand NWK has already got to) and maybe fewer shutouts. But on a whole, it was really a very easy program to use and it has a bright future in lacrosse.

And that's all I have to say and I'm looking forward to WLC37!

Thank you to Sylestone for hosting the competition, you did a great job in hosting the tournament.

Congrats to Abanhfleft, commiserations to Cassadaigua, and congrats to Banija (for 3rd Place) in the tournament. I had plenty of fun RPing this competition, and it was nice with all the RPs being done.

Here's to the next edition!

Yeah, I was leery about using Kalactinator so soon after the AOLC since there were a few things that NK and I worked through during that tournament.

But that said, I'm very excited to have this one in the books (although not excited about Abanhfleft winning his six before I did ... GRRR!).

It's also nice to see at least a little IC conversation about NS lacrosse joining the other sports as a Big Six, even if it's only one IC comment so far. :)

Wow. Six titles. I still can't believe it. Lacrosse is now officially my most successful sport in NS ever. To think that I've barely even watched a single minute of real life lacrosse after all this...

First of all, congrats to Sylestone for hosting this tournament. I had a bit of an issue with the use of the new scorinator such as the "all even scores" and that very low-scoring game, but given what's been said before me here, it looks like the issues are being addressed.

Commiserations to Cassadaigua for not being able to win all six major NS championships, to Banija for always getting beaten by me once again in the game where it counts the most, and to Sarzonia for getting to six WLC titles before you did.

Finally, I would like to take this moment to yeet my hat out of the ring for the presidential race. Meaning I will refuse any nominations to become president of the WLC. Being IBC president is hard enough already, and I'd rather not do it again anywhere else.
