The results of the final and third place playoff game are now up.

Sorry to all if this had been delayed, especially in the past few days, but finally everything is now concluded, and I would once again like to thank everyone for letting me have the opportunity of hosting this tournament. It's been a pleasure.

And as last time I forgot to do these for a long time, the WLC 33 Ranks are out. Best to get it done lest I forget and we have a host scrambling for them at the last minute like we did this time around.

Hey, amigos.

I know I'm obviously way late on IDLO cutoffs. I will give a hard date soon, and stick to that for the next one. I greatly apologize for that.

And of course, to do that, after the next IDLO, I would be interested in passing the competition onto somebody else. Months long delays aren't good for it, and I'd be willing to pass it along to somebody who can give it the attention it requires.

TG me if you want to run it, and we'll see what we can do.

The last time we discussed possibly having a successor to Cosumar as WLC President, we only had one person nominated (me). No one seconded it, no one else was nominated, and it just kind of died from there. There was no voting period and no formal transfer of power.

I'd like to see us get someone in place as President and then look toward setting up at least some kind of structure for the presidency, whether that means having a WLC Council and a constitution or merely a president and vice president who operate with the advice and consent of the lacrosse playing nations.

I can do signups for the next WLC if no one has any objections to it, but I'd really like to see if we're going to have certainty.

For the record, I would totally endorse Sarzonia to take over in this role. I’ve carried the torch for this tournament for many years and Sarz has demonstrated his persistent interest and commitment to it.

I was the one who suggested the last time, and I was being quite serious. And what Sarz said about the issue sort of dying off came across my mind. I'm perfectly happy for them to be President.

Competition thread is up.
Five Groups of Four; top 2 teams per group make the playoffs. Seeds 1-6 get first round bye, seeds 7-10 play in first round.
(when I initially posted the thread I said it would be 8 teams, but I think that may be a bit too restrictive, so going with 10 teams).

Don't forget that the competition begins today, with cutoff around 7:00pm EST, or 8 hours and 37 minutes from the time of this post (approximately).
