So. I didn't get to rp due to rehab., but ICly I have to give a scapegoat to why we failed to qualify for the knockout rounds, Timothy McGraw, the 52 year-old Velestrian head coach has been fired by the VLF and we're looking for a replacement, preferably an int'l. lacrosse coach. Velestria is willing to pay a large price for him/her too.
--------
Also, with the IDLO in the books I will be created a small transferwire for lacrosse, as there are a few lacrosse leagues around, while I don't expect a lot it will add a little intrigue I believe to upcoming WLCs and stories for the IDLOs, I'd like to take your thoughts and ideas?

Ah two questions for the lacrosse community on NS:
    1) First, Banija, when are your planned cutoffs for domestic lacrosse IDLO Championships Cup?
    2) Cosumar, you've been President of the WLC Federation for rl-3 years and presided over five WLCs, is there a possible date for a new WLC Presidential election?
That's all :D

The goal will be probably around when signups close for the WLCs. I feel like that kind of timing leading into the WLCs can help generate excitement for the tournament.

Totally willing to pass the torch. As indicated by the above, I've let my attention on WLC slack a bit since the last edition, so perhaps it's time.

We can open it up for self-nominations after the upcoming tournament if that would be agreeable.

Wow, this is a good example of how NS time distorts your perceptions. I would've sworn that the last tourney was more recent than January.

I'm open to the suggestion of nominations following the forthcoming tourney (I suppose I am on the WLC committee now?)

With WLC signups on the way, then a cutoff date for the IDLO will be coming as well.

Which also means, I'll make sure to finish those IDLO ranks by this weekend. I'll still aim for, roughly, the end of WLC signups for the cutoff for the IDLO (though of course, it'll be more set in stone once dates are out).

West Phoenicia, I consider one player scoring 12 goals in a game when the two teams aren't ridiculously mismatched to be a Godmode.

I decided to run with it, but just wanted you to know.

I will disagree. That is just your opinion. I used Google to see if it was impossible and players have scored more than 12 goals in a game before. Was just showing that one of my players is a little better than some of the others on the team. Which will be used in another foreplay this season.

The Table of Champions has been updated, as has the overall Medal Count.

Fun Facts Time!
- It was the third time in the last five tournaments that the championship featured two first-time finalists, a sign that the balance of power is as spread out as ever
- Banija's last three WLC medals have all been Bronze, tying them with Cosumar for the most total third-place finishes
- Over 31 WLCs, there have been 43 different medalist nations, with an average of 2.16 medals each between them

Thanks for another great edition, everybody! Especially our diligent host.

Now, as promised, I (Cosumar) will open the floor for self-nominations for WLC President should anybody wish to take up the responsibilities, which include: opening sign-ups, sending awareness telegrams to participants of recent editions, conducting host votes, maintaining the above tables, and updating the official rankings.

To clarify, any parties running for the role will still have to be approved by vote. I'm merely opening the floor for people to state their interest.

The WLC hasn't historically produced enough engagement to warrant an entirely separate round of nominating candidates like the WCC does.

I wouldn't presume to nominate anyone, because I know a lot of the most involved nations in the WLC already have other competitions they run.
And not being rude or a smartass, if Sarzonia felt uncomfortable nominating themself, I would put their name forward.
