Darmen riders struggle in Tour of Troy
Despite putting in good performances at the Ellismare Preliminara, Scott Perry and Tim Prince struggled at the Tour of Troy in New Palmouth. Both Perry and Prince are good climbers, but it is unknown wether the course for the Tour of Troy was mountainous. The actual Tour of New Palmouth, which is a ten stage race, is set to start soon.

You'll see why this is not the offical result, as there were too many DNF.

Hmm.. You probably did 0 at skill by everyone? You better do 0.5, then there are more finishers :s.

It wasn't just that, I set things up wrong. So I did it again. I believe that cycling is unpredictable, so I don't really give out skills for that reason. But I will give 0.5 to all racers for the next race, and 1.0 for the top 3.

Tour of New Palmouth preview (Including report of the Tour of Troy)

9 countries have now signed up for the first Tour of New Palmouth, the first cycling event of the sporting year. The 10 stage race will take place all over the country. The cyclists will begin their tour with a time-trail event in the capital, Mayfield City. They'll then travel the country in 7 stage races and 2 more time trails. The event will take place over 12 days, with 2 rest days involved. The favourite to win is Matt Corbett from New Palmouth, who won the Tour of Troy. But they may be some suprise guests joining him ready to beat the odds.

the Tour of Troy was a test event invovling 12 racers from 6 of the countries taking place in Troy. The race took place on the roads of the city, with no hills in sight. Thousands of people turned out to see a first gilmpse of some of the cyclists taking part in the main tour. The race had to be taken place twice after most of cyclists withdrew half-way through the first run due to heavy winds pushing them off their bikes. None had major injures, but despite the remaining 4 completing the race, and Kent Wood of Polokopia winning, the NPCA (New Palmouth Cycling Association) said the race should take place again as it was unfair on the other cyclists who withdrew. The race took place again the following morning, with Kent Wood again leading for most of the race, but Matt Corbett, one of those who withdrew from the first run, took over in the last few miles and won the race in 6 hours, 26 mins and 32 seconds, with Kent finishing less than a min behind. Those 2 will be the ones to watch on the main tour.

Our predictions state it will be a close tour with Corbett and Wood the main challengers.

OOC: And this, people, is why you do not sign up to an event which uses xkoranate to scorinate a tour. Xkoranate is meant for single-day races involving many competitors and you have repeatedly been told as such, Palmouth. Your insistence at going ahead will not bring about any good returns.

OOC: Liventa, these are test events. IC it's a chance for the cyclists to get used to the events. OOC, it's a chance for me to get used to the scorinator in time for the tour. I guess you won't be signing up, so shut up and go away

Not really. The Ellismare Preliminaria (or how you spell it) was organized better. Ever looked at a tour? Tour de France? The stages are never of the same length.

OK the Waterloo time trail is off, the main event begins 7pm tomorrow. Be prepared. Oh, and I will look at the Ellismare Preliminaria to see it worked, so I can take notes and make sure this event is good.

I did not mean co-host that, I meant this, meaning you can host half of it and I host half of it.

I dont care that you are using Xkorinate, but i know there is another program used to scorinate games called NSFootySim. I haven't tried it, but i know many other leagues have used it.
