Michael VII will send two cyclists for this tour if allowed. (Details coming later)
If wanted, we could send two Mesket cyclists (from the puppet state of Meshkete) to boost numbers and Meskete's sporting profile!

Palmouth, despite your name, you're not new to NS Sports, and you should know better than to bump a thread already on the first page whose last post is barely an hour old.

Pending the results of the BoF host bid voting, I will be starting a full tour of my nation to go with the Ellismare Preliminara that I did a while ago. Not sure how the new xkoranate handles cycling events but when I did the Ellismare one (which you can search for if you want) there's an awful lot of work involved - be warned.

Well when are you gonna do that, as Qazox may not do one due to problems?

Well, not sure. But as I hinted it depends on the outcome of the BoF host voting. As Sorth and I have informally discussed, its not a great idea to have two cycling tours on at the same time, so if yours was already running by then I'd hang back and wait until yours is done should you go ahead with it. I wouldn't have my even 'rival' yours, if that's what you mean.

OK, well I might delay mine as I bidded to host the Rugby Union World Cup.

For those of you worried, there were not many bidders and the other nations bidding have not had much experience anyway.

Knowing that I won't win my bid for the World Cup of Rugby, we should start when at least 10 countries join.

Due to the lack of a proper, official, consistent cycling tournament (where football has the World Cup, etc), I doubt there are rankings anywhere at the moment. Though I don't see why, if somebody wanted to put some time into it, we couldn't have rankings that are similar to the UICA ones, with separate ranks for nations and new clubs (in this case, riders) from said nations.

And New Palmouth, you never want to write yourself off until the votes are counted. I like the think that it is relatively straight forward for an inexperienced host to gain recognition and experience - after all, what chance does a new host have if they aren't given the chance to host because of their lack of experience - and so I will always consider a lack of experience as a chance for the user to prove themselves rather than a negative impact on the host bid as a whole.

That's some good advice thanks. But now Saugeis has bidded, I'm sure most people will vote for him.

3 countries (including myself) has signed up. The roser for New Palmouth is now up.

A test event in the city of Troy will take place at 20:15 UK time with the contestants who applied so far. It's a race round the city of Troy, near Grampian (Where the tour reaches it's final stages) and will be a mass start. The winner will have an advantage on the main races, which they can decide themsleves.

The Tour of Troy results in 1 min. You don't have to RP as this is only a test event.

The Tour of Troy now takes place at 20:20, as I've made a few changes. This was the first result, but not the offical ones:

1 Kent Wood (Polokopia ) 6:31:26
2 Robby McCormack (ABK) 6:38:28
3 Danny Heater (Gallund) 6:40:28
4 Tony Roberge (ABK) 6:58:27
— Elliot Johnson (Polokopia) DNF
Guy Charge (Gallund ) DNF
Jackson Andrews (New Palmouth) DNF
Kenneth Brown (Deminina ) DNF
Matt Corbett (New Palmouth) DNF
Peter O'Brien (Deminina ) DNF
Scott Perry (Darmen) DNF
Tim Prince (Darmen) DNF

You'll see why this is not the offical result, as there were too many DNF.
