Coming right up - albeit with less excitement (even, surprisingly, in that Freeport Isles-Oscioru clash, with an average style mod of +4.5 - & no goals to show for it).

Osci Pre-BoF Friendly Tour
Swibia 2–0 Oscioru
Dreamplanet 0–1 Oscioru
Freeport Isles 0–0 Oscioru
Taeshan 1–0 Oscioru
South Toronto 2–0 Oscioru

The Principality of Czarna Gora is interested in hosting a series of 3-4 friendly matches against unranked, or low-ranked teams, prior to the Baptism of Fire. An impartial scorinator would be appreciated, otherwise I can conduct scorination with NSFS.

I’m an unranked team as I haven’t participated ever since WC75, and since I need more friendlies I’d like to take a spot.

Pre-World Cup 81 Friendlies

Goals galore as Swibia holds Juvencus to draw in dramatic home game

It will take quite some time for the excitement to die down after what Swibian Football Fans chairman Gary Hutton described as "the most exciting game of Swibian football I've ever seen." The second game in Juvencus' Tour des amis of pre-World Cup friendlies saw them draw in a 4-4 clash with an on-form Swibian team. Both teams, fresh from respective wins over Central Shaneville and Darmen, met on the pitch at Kolar Arena, the home ground of Swibia. 24,532 were in attendance to watch the game between 39th-ranked Juvencus and the unranked Swibian team. Juvencus went into the game being the clear favourites, and so were keen to experiment with different tactics and rotate team members.

The game got off to a flying start with a goal within the first minute by a Juvencus striker. This began the period of domination in the first half by Juvencus. Swibian defender O'Loughlin picked up a yellow card at the 3rd minute after a harsh tackle. The Juvencus domination continued and was demonstrated by them bagging goals from their No. 6 and their No. 3 in the 14th and 41st minute respectively. Defensive midfielder Liam Price managed to earn himself a yellow in the 29th minute from dissent against an offside decision.

The Swibian come-back began just before half time, with Weber Tiffany scoring a header straight from a fantastically-placed cross from midfielder Fax Drew. A clearly well-timed pep talk from manager Ruddie Odeh set the Swibian team up well, who had ended the first half down 3-1. Elmore continued where Tiffany had left off in the 58th minute, scoring from a through ball delivered by Davidian. With a Swibian comeback looking possible, Juvencus' No. 10 tried his best to put a rest to the resurgence by making the scoreline 4-2 in the 66th minute. Fierce box-to-box play in the last 25 minutes paid off when a Juvencus player was sent off for a crunching slide in the penalty area in the 81st minute.

Rudy Lancaster scored the penalty, and the Swibian team pushed hard to capitalise on Juvencus being a man down. Success game in the 90th minute when a vital corner was awarded to Swibia. After being headed out by a defender, a crafty pass by Drew back into the box found Hibbert right foot, who powerfully placed the ball into the bottom corner. Within minutes, it was all over, Swibia having scraped back from 3-0 down to a 4-4 overall draw.

Following the match, Ruddie Odeh praised both the Swibian team and their opponents, saying "This is the kind of football that will be a valuable learning experience for both teams going into this World Cup. I like to think we gave Juvencus a run for their money and they will be a better team for it. I wish them luck in their coming friendlies and in their World Cup fixtures." Elsewhere, Swibia emerged victorious against fellow unranked teams Central Shaneville, 2-1, and Oscioru, 2-0. Both matches were at home, and mean Swibia now has a 4 game unbeaten streak under its belt.
A sporting nation that enters lots of things and never does very well. A bit like Ireland, or Israel.
