Karditan, you will find in my most recent RP a request to change my style modifier to 0 on the -5/+5 scale. If that's possible, it would be much-appreciated.

No problem. I didn't mention it specifically (because it rarely comes up), but I'm in the base of "you get one" in regards to mid-tourney style changes.

Yeah, that can vary by browser and circumstance. If you're not already using Firefox, I recommend switching, because I ave had the best text-recovery experiences with that one. Also, a firefox extension called Lazarus will automatically save *all* entered text across sessions. (Lazarus might be too slow to help if your computer is old and you have other large extensions; I had to remove it, but it might help you.)

Do your RP's in Microsoft Word or equivalent program, and then just copy & paste them into a post!
This is also good because you end up with a file of just your RP's all together for the competition, so if you want to refer back to something, it will right there in that document.

Apologies to my groupmates for the lack of RPing from me lately. I've been a bit overwhelmed with school and haven't had much inspiration or time to write lately. Yay, burn out! Anyways, I'll probably be able to get a couple decent RPs together for the last two MDs since I don't expect to be in this much longer.

Also, Karditan, are you even trying to be subtle with that little note? Besides, my cutting it close tonight was nowhere near as bad as it was in WC63. I think I missed something like four cutoffs by a combined five minutes (at most).

Hey, Karditan, I have a question:

What tie-breakers are getting priority, here? I can't find the information in your original bid post, and I'm not sure anyone actually asked.

I ask mostly because of our group: assuming we both win or both lose our final qualifying round games:
A) If Point Differential is given priority after overall record, then you (Karditan) will win the group.
B) If head-to-head record is given priority after overall record, I would win the group.

Zerabithea would be honored to host such a building in it's capital. ;) (Though I could imagine selecting people, and finding some of those early posts would be hell, kind of like when we tried to do a Pro Bowl)

I can get behind that, I would assume if this actually gets anywhere it would be done similar to how the NFL does it's Hall of Fame?

Id bet id be done more like the world cup and wbc ones. We set up a criteria for who what gets a player into it and each player when they pass each of the criteria gets to add another person to their part of the hallf of fame.

Probably something like

*for each (4-6 is good) amount of attempts at qualifying a country makes they get a person in
*for each (3-5 is good) playoff rounds the country makes they get a player in
*for each championship you get a player in (always is one of the criterion i believe)

Alright, I don't do much with those two, did not know they even had something like that. I'll have to take a look and see for myself. Do they require a player to be retired for a certain time? Like with the NFL.

Given that the World Bowl is held much less frequently than the World Cup, the requirements for a spot in the WB HoF should be looser. Every championship title, three playoff appearances, and four attempts seems reasonable to me. That way even those of us who miss the playoffs on point differential multiple times despite having a .750 or better winning percentage could get a spot every year or so.
