It actually is as M7 has been officially placed on the ballot for World Bowl President, some one only needs two nominations with that I too nominate Michael VII.

I am listed as BoI Eligible even though I participated in the Baptism of Iron last year. Is this correct?

You shouldn't be listed as BOI eligible.

I'm not sure if I still have the TGs from the earlier call (I'll check when I log in to another account where I backup my telegrams), since they were before the upgrade.

Either way, here's a second call for a new head coach. FSC has been doing it traditional Califan style so far--no permanent manager, temporary coaches elected on a game-by-game basis--which has been oddly successful for the overperforming University of Califas team in NSCF, but has had predictably middling-to-awful results for the Federal Team.

Candidates submitted earlier (there were 1 or 2) will be considered, though you can send me a reminder if you wish (to puppet FreeSouthCalifas RegionRelations Council).

New candidates should be submitted by telegram (to puppet FreeSouthCalifas RegionRelations Council) with some reason the individual would want to be head coach. Check out the Government link in my signature and the badges on my nation page to see some social reasons that a prospective emigrant would choose FSC, if you feel this would be helpful; otherwise, common reasons include high international visibility, professional challenges in a relatively relaxed context, total absence of prisons/crime/drug laws, stable/pleasant/diverse weather, political asylum or interest in communism/anarchism/socialism, trainspotting (cars are banned and public transit is supremely dense), interest in a local culture (surfers, rockers, skinheads, backpackers, SHARPs, heads, stoners, DIY, bike, etc.)...

At the start of the World Bowl, I will RP an election in the Gridiron Assembly (a free federal body of players, staffers and fans) which will also include domestic candidates. If your candidate loses, it will be a good reason and not a waste (at least, the winner will have had a good reason for winning, either because y'all gave me one or I RPed one for a domestic candidate).

Thanks for your interest.

I think I might put Joseph Marchild, University of Jagoza coach, in as a candidate. (FSC, UJ will show a lot of interest in your recruits next season).

Should be good RP material as Valentino keeps the M7 job. Speaking of which, I don't think my football team has a name. I know I made my Baseball team the Falcons, but I never named football...

I already applied Leon Rodriksunn, I think. I can add another, if you'd like, FSC.

On another note... So, I have a slight character conundrum.

Daniel Rickenbacher, my current defensive coordinator, will be leaving the team after World Bowl XX for a domestic league job.

One of the replacement possibilities I'd been think about was having a certain head-coach join the World Bowl team coaching staff. The problem is, said coach is an inherited character of a nation that has since CTE'd.

Would it be unethical to use this character (One Mr. Owen Powis, for those who might be familiar) in my coaching staff? Rennidan's CTE'd, so I can't just ask them.

There's actually probably a couple of AGL teams that are sufficiently desperate...

Thanks for noting these. I will try to get some NSCF recruits in this season. I know, I'm a naughty RPer

Multiple Allamunnic candidates are welcome if it feels appropriate in your estimation of my team IC.

As to German zerabithea, the FGL now has a 3-5 tier system (can't quite remember), so if your coach wanted a fresh start there ought to be someone desperate enough to give hir a chance.

Well mine used to be the Pandas, but was changed to the Rams in the hope that a fresh new name would help. Seeing how the team has done as the Rams compared to what they did as the Pandas, I suppose one could say it worked. 8)

Mine's Gridiron Knights, with the word 'Gridiron' added to avoid the possible confusion with the Ice Knights, the national Ice Hockey team, and Kingston Knights, a Québec Hockey League franchise.

I don't have a name for my team, because I've never gotten around to doing it. I like to RP it as if we just chant "M-SEVEN!" like the U-S-A chants you hear in RL sports. Otherwise it's just the Michael VII National American Football team.

And mine's gone through a few changes: first it was the Barons (but that was because the 'States just sent the AGL Champion, and it happened to be the Barons). I think next was the Iron Chargers and Iron Tide, and then in World Bowl Nine it became the Volunteers. They stayed the Vols until World Bowl...Twelve, I believe, when the current name, the Regulars, started being used.

Also, making a note: We are eleven days out from the hosting bid deadline, but I have yet to receive any in the Sign-Up thread, either for the BoI (for which we have sufficient numbers) or for the World Bowl proper.

Also going to leave nominations for World Bowl President open until the same date as the Host-Bid deadline, and we'll vote on all the hosting bids, as well as the new World Bowl President, all at once.

Currently nominated for World Bowl President are:

- Yesopalitha
- Michael VII

Let me know if I forgot anyone.

World Bowl Host bid that I'm none too confident about is up.

On a side note, I'm not really sure how to link directly to New West Guiana's hosting bid. All I managed was to link it to the page...
