Awesome, I'll get a draw done some time later tonight. Just got home from a rowing regatta, so a bit beat out right now.

That's interesting. I know someone who was also in a regatta today. And his name is Michael. :eyebrow:

It's 11.36pm NZDT right now, I will do the draw when I wake up, so certainly within the next 12 hours, and then I'll scorinate the first round the next day. I believe there is also a friendly for me to scorinate, which will be done immediately after the group draw.

As suggested by Yesopalitha, I will be randomising the group schedule to allow for the top seeds to not be playing the bottom seeds and every other seed on the same day.

As Qazox has been the only one to actively involve his schedule in his RPs, I will leave his group untouched, but the rest are subject to change, check the thread tomorrow for changes. First cutoff in 21.5 hours.

MVII, it would be helpful if you could link to rosters in the list of groups. :)

Also, what is the proper term for a person from Michael VII?

Michael VII here, just in Meshkete form for RPing.

Yep, now that I'm free for the rest of the southern hemisphere Summer, I have time to play around with these things. After doing my RPs with Meshkete and M7, I'll try get around to the roster links before cutting off at about 6am GMT. (Pretty sure NZDT is 13 hours ahead right now...)

Oh, and I believe in the WCDT people thought that Michaelean was best, so that's what I've been going with. ICly though, no one from Michael VII will really refer to themselves as a Michaelean, you're either Frbiban, Jagozan, Jagozer (see puppet nation Jagoza) or Schmejga. (Regional pride is very common in Michael VII, so things like wearing Red in Jagoza and Blue in Frbiba don't go down too well).

Okay, so foreigners will call them Michaeleans since they don't know what regions the people are from. Got it, thanks.

Just a heads up, tomorrow will create some interesting happenings with regard to the cutoff time. I usually cutoff at 7pm local time, but I will not be home around that time, at best I could do about 2-3am local time as a one off.

This isn't so bad for one day, but it also means that it'd only be 16-17 hours before the next cutoff, so I am thinking it'll probably be best to have a rest day, (middle of qualifying too), for this day and resume the next day. Otherwise my schedule should be pretty normal until the 12th, but I'll work that out closer to the time.

I like the idea of the rest day after Matchday 5, partly to prevent a 16-hour period between RP cutoffs and as a breather for those who might need it.

Seconded. I don't think the 16-hour cutoff would affect me, but for RPers in more sensitive time zones it seems most fair that way.

Thirded. In addition, it's pretty standard operating procedure to put a break at the midway point of qualifiers, besides just giving people a chance to catch their breath.

Of course, I'm fine with whatever works best for our host.
