I'm anticipating having two 100+ yard rushers in a few games this time, but even with that, those will only be in games where I blow someone out. I used to have really unreasonable numbers of rushing yards, but I've tuned it down some. My quarterback(s) have only very rarely had 300+ yard games, though.
It depends on what sort of approach you want to take. Make it about as realistic as you can. Develop the characters however you want. I've never had as much luck in developing the characters for college football, since it's less fixed, but I've had some of the same World Bowl characters for...jeez nine World Bowl cycles now. At least in my head, their characters are fleshed out, and so I've sort of tried to work that in more in my RP's.
So if you want to go for a character-based RP style, I'd suggest developing a handful at a time. Focus on them, and let them become the most vivid.
Thanks for the advice. I presume I'll have a summary of highlights of game, BoxScore, and then I set up for that team to have the Center and the Outside Linebacker as main characters. Since it's not QB, RB, or WR, it should be interesting to see the game from their perspective.
Also I presume since I post every day I can have interviews with coaches, etc., to develop their character too.
If you ever go to F7 at all (I know most of F7 is crap) check out this Jewel called Mystria. http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=137315 120 pages and counting. I Co-OP that. And all my friends tell me I can write.
So now... to Football... which I love almost too much.
EDIT: How odd would it be if I became a Point Spread Provider as well, in part of my broadcasts of different matchups?
