What are your nation's national sports? Soccer, football, golf, track/field? Let the world know.

Mine are:
Golf and Marching (Marching Band- we are a militarized nation, making marching very popular. Yes, it is a sport!).

Up until recently New Gothland had the second best hockey team in the Dark Lands, but after we annexed Delothrian provinces back into the motherland we have reclaimed out title of the reigning Hockey champions of the Dark Lands. In fact, we enjoy most winter sports in general due to the fact the majority of the Commune is located above the arctic circle. However, the core continent colony which exists in a much warmer environment that shifts from temperate all the way to desert, tends to prefer Soccer. Meanwhile the people of the western Archipelago tend to prefer so called "beach" and water sports such a volley ball, surfing, water polo, and swimming.

Association football is the most popular sport by far and enjoyed by the majority of the population. Regionally, activities such as baseball, competitive dance, sailboat racing, and Motorsports are popular.

Urumgard football is by far the most popular sport in Urumgard. However, outside of the kingdom it is totally unknown as the rules have not been published outside of the kingdom. Most foreigners who have visited Urumgard describe it as a sport similar to rugby, with some aspects of gridiron football.

We have no official national sport but when 70ish percent of your population is actively regestered on a curling team, I think it's safe to say curling. After that, it's probably Cross Country Skiing followed closely by Alpine Skiing. Ice Hockey is also up in that mix.

Most non-snow and ice sports don't maintain as much of a following but Baseball and Rugby League do have quite a bit of a following. Also gaining steam recently has been Association football.

Probably football, since we have four different types of football played professionally.

There are 174 professional sport clubs in The Babbage Islands, playing association football, Babbage rules football, American football, international (aka compromise) rules football, baseball, cricket, fivepins, ice hockey, korfball, netball, and polo. The individual sports of auto racing and golf also have significant professional presences.

Water polo and swimming. Our sports are mainly water-based, which may seem ironic since we live on Mars. But it makes sense if you think about it. We are drawn to water because of the dryness of the planet.
