Vote cast, TG sent, copy being posted (although of course I recognise that that isn't "necessary") here.

"Hrarroom!" ( = "Greetings!") _

Bears Armed Olympic Committee, faced with a current choice between Cafunduelese taxation or having the Games split between two nations, votes to re-open the bidding process instead.

The IC business spilling over into OOC is extremely annoying. Don't like the IC taxes, abstain. Don't affect the entire vote just because an overly-qualified (OOC) candidate has RPed something that you don't like.

Cafundéu's bid is on page 36 and the joint bid on page 38 of this thread, assuming you have the default forum settings.

Krytenia's post was not directed to me but because I share the opinion of the person it was directed too, I thought I would respond here. The reason I have stopped participating in the Olympics is because too many sports are condensed over too short a time. It's time, in my opinion, to stop following the RL Olympic schedule, and to spread things around more. Make it a 4 week event, or even 6 weeks.

Until then, I just can't get into it.

As I wasn't planning on participating and don't have a vote, I didn't read specifics of Cafundeu's bid. I like his plan and may consider joining if he wins, yes. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I'm fairly certain that my co-host, Carasatoga, and I would be willing to consider this option (if we actally win the bid). My only concern is losing more ADHD participatns, persay, because of the lag in between events if it were to be pushed out that far. But that would actually make scorination much easier for the host(s) in any case.

Speaking as someone with somewhat severe ADHD (Stronger then mild but weaker then…well…really severe) I doubt that I would lose interest in a tournament if it is spread out over several weeks.

Ok. :) And when I said ADHD, I didn't mean it literally. I just meant more like nations that have a track record of being like "Coolz! I'll join" and then just flaking out and not really RPing.

17-6? Surely votes were missed! I demand a recount. :p jkjk. We lost, by a huge effing maring.

17-6. Wow... Queenstown--Horuk got murdered in a vote. Of course, what can one expect when running up against somebody who's hosted an Olympics before? Congrants to Cafundéu on simply obliterating our bid. It will be a great Olympics under your supervision, and Bergnovinaia will be back next summer again for a bid (hopefully adding more sports stuff under our belt in the meantime).
