I'm afraid you are going to need more than that to be a credible host bid. I suggest looking at previous host bids to see the format in which it needs to be laid out.

No, because you haven't hosted a World Cup before, and it's still dreadfully weak. Lemme find a link to what I mean.

Not unless you want to use one. Generally, you don't see age limits on NS Sports unless it's for something like the Di Bradini Cup (Under-21 World Cup) or the U-15 World Championships.

Actually, ES, the accepted roleplay convention is that teams follow the real-life limit of under-23 players with a maximum of three overage players, but this isn't actively policed. So you're right that teams can ignore the age limit, but convention is to mirror RL.

Huh. Don't know if I've ever seen that brought up here or elsewhere, but that's something I'll make a note of for my roster.

Looking at my current squad i have 5 players over 23 so i was wondering if that would be policed. I suppose it would be easy to drop two and promote two players from the U-15 WC squad i am entering into that comp.

This would be my current national team.

I have to search through pages and pages of posts containing "Olympic Games" in the order they were made, thus taking substantially longer on a phone which occasionally goes crazy and clicks random places on the screen than if someone would link it from his "View My Posts" tab.

A reminder from the first post of this thread (emphasis Kelssek's):

Kelssek wrote:Also, please do not bid to host unless you know what you are doing. Hosting the Olympics is a tremendously big and time-consuming undertaking, and is much more than posting photos of stadiums and coming up with a spiel about one of your cities. When I did it I spent literally weeks processing the signups and loading them into the scorinator, in addition to at least 2 hours per day to generate the results. And that's for the Winter Olympics, which has less than a third of the events that the Summer Olympics does. In any case, it is very doubtful you would be accepted as the host if the participants didn't have confidence you could actually carry through with it.

All previous games are linked on the OP of this thread to their wiki page.

I don't know about NS page if you want that. I would go to search box and make sure i tick the box that says thread title the copy the name of the Olympiad you want to find there.

You should rather go to advanced search and choose the option that shows only thread titles instead of individual posts.

Thanks to both. That would be quite easy to do if I wasn't on my phone. Back to a computer tomorrow.

There have been two cohost bids in the past, though neither have succeeded. Nothing to stop anyone from bidding to cohost except the experience of one or both bidders.
