VVS abruptly ends agreement to house 1899 in SMS following derby defeat

.Contentious Stadiums.
VVS emerged as Szbedansk Derby losers after their 1-2 defeat to bitter city rivals 1899 Szbedansk in their own home. Now the VVS board and supporters association have informed the KHD that they will no longer allow 1899 to use the Szbedansk Multipurpose Stadium.

A Lydia Marjam 91st minute winning strike from 16 metres out was the final straw for many VVS supporters as the VVSers suffer two defeats in a row. The major discourse after their previous 1-0 defeat to VAT Szbedansk away had been a popular superstition that they have been cursed ever since allowing 1899 Szbedansk to play in their home grounds. Just recently, about a day after the match ended, a general meeting was held by the VVS board to discuss ending their agreement with the KHD and 1899. The result was nearly unanimous, the Szbedansk Multipurpose Stadium will not welcome the Old Lady anymore. The SMS is owned 49% by the city government, and as is the case for most of their shared ownership, the Szbedansk City Council have gone with the wish of VVS. As per their agreement, VVS are allowed to terminate the agreement at any moment. Reportedly a 10,000 Gelder termination clause is included in the agreement.

The KHD released a statement shortly after where they did not mince words with how inconvenient and frustrating the decision was. 1899 have not released a statement. The Old Lady is due a home fixture against high-flying Reaktiv Ibsia in less than a week. The KHD will now have to scramble for a home venue once more with even less time.

Update (10 minutes ago):
The VVK has fined VV Szbedansk 5,000 Gelders for 'disrupting KHD operations in bad spirit'. The VVS board have stated that they will fight against said fine. Meanwhile the VVS Supporters Association have released a statement saying that they are 'honoured' to disrupt both the KHD and 1899's operations. .

Irredentisti Stadium to no longer host 1899 matches

.Contentious Stadiums.
1899 Szbedansk have announced that they will seek other alternative home venues to Ibsia City's Irredentisti Stadium following their 1-2 defeat to Reaktiv.

In a repeat of last weeks decision made by VV Szbedansk to end their agreement to host 1899 Szbedansk in their Szbedansk Multipurpose Stadium, 1899 have followed suit by practically ending their agreement with Ibsia City to play in their 40,000 seater Irredentisti Stadium. The agreement brokered by the KHD was technically a temporary measure though with the expectation that 1899 will play in Ibsia for the rest of the season. This is backed by the State Railways preparing to accomodate an influx of 1899 supporters travelling to Ibsia regularly. But now with 1899 no longer wishing to play in Ibsia, the KHD will once more scramble to find a home venue for the Old Lady.

1899 have cited in their official statement that, as was their reasoning when the Stadia Szbedansk was first closed, Ibsia was too far away for an 1899 home venue. 1899 next home game comes in MD11 when they host newly promoted side VB Valbrug.

Update (10 minutes ago):
The KHD and Ibsia City have confirmed that 1899 will no longer play in the Irredentisti Stadium. A fine for a similar reason to VVS's will be issued in the upcoming days to 1899. The KHD have also stated that they will do everything they can to make sure that the next home venue will be 1899's until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Stadia Szbedansk is still under extensive inspection. Internal reports suggest that much needed infrastructural upgrades are needed for the north-east section. 1899 hopes to bundle in several VIP and facility upgrades during the repairs. Club sources believe that the Stadia Szbedansk is more than definitively ruled out this season due to said planned upgrades. .

VVK, KHD, and 1899 reaches agreement to use Waersanti Stadion in Wolphaert for the rest of the season

.Contentious Stadiums.
After weeks of twists and turns regarding on where 1899 Szbedansk will play their home fixtures, the matter seems to have been dealt with following an agreement made by multiple parties to use Wolphaert Wolves's Waersanti Stadion until the end of S9.

Following 1899's statement that they don't deem the Irredentisti Stadium in Ibsia as suitable for a temporary home venue, the KHD has scrambled once more to find a suitable stadium. VVS's Szbedansk Multipurpose Stadium was out of the picture early after hosting two games early in the season, whilst VAT Szbedansk Doresterborough Stadium was deemed unsuitable for 1899's standards. That leaves no other football stadiums in Szbedansk with suitable facilities and grounds.

The closest available venue therefore lie in the Zuylen Clears Stadium in Zuylen, the Azmella Stadion in Azmelstad, and the Waersanti Stadion in Wolphaert. The Zuylen Clears Stadium and Azmella Stadion is home to the diaspora teams of Resurgence Zuylen and VfL Azmelstad respectively. Though both has capacities less than 10,000 which was deemed a bare minimum by 1899. That leaves Wolphaert Wolves home grounds Waersanti Stadion with their modern 12,000 seater stadium

The KHD, VVK, 1899 Szbedansk and Wolphaert Wolves have made a joint statement that the deal has been finalised. As part of the deal the KHD will cover additional maintenance expenses for using the ground whilst 1899 Szbedansk will allocate 10% of gate receipts to Wolphaert Wolves. The first home game in Wolphaert is due on MD11 as 1899 Szbedansk host VB Valbrug.

Update (10 minutes ago):
A seperate deal between 1899 Szbedansk and Wolphaert Wolves have been made regarding sharing academy players between the two sides. Three 1899 U-16 players have made the switch to the Wolphaert Wolves. .
