It is, indeed, an unfortunate fact that just as there is life in the world, so too must there be death. It has long been an attempt by the Holy Technocracy to unbalance that equation, and for a while now we have seen some progress, in a crude form of Resurrection that brought people once dead back to life....unfortunately, however, the chance of such a success was less than 3%.

However, in the many years since, we are pleased to announce that, as the success rate has now been refined to near-perfection, we will be from now on opening up our services of resurrection to the outside world. Nations may be free to place orders with us, along with bodies and payment, and we will do our utmost best to bring them back to life. For those curious as to how we do this most miraculous process, feel free to read below, after which we shall include our form detailing payment and any additional add-ons.

Our History

The earliest form of the Resurrection Process, in 2017. The person to be resurrected unfortunately failed, but the body was still able to help the scientists of the time pick out a few areas of improvement.

The Resurrection Process is an open service provided by the Hall of Unorthdox Science, the primary state-owned university in the Holy Technocracy, and one of the most recognizable in the world today. Founded on the sight of the former Harvard University, the Hall of Unorthdox Science prepares our future men and women for training in the many fields of science as proud Doktors, and it is in the Hall that the Process takes place.

The Resurrection Process was first developed in 2016, after The Dean, also the Mechanology Divisional Leader of the Holy Technocracy (for more information, check the factbook available for public perusal) first thought of it after the untimely death of his wife. He began the theoretical ponderings of how one could manage to provide both function and control back to the body, and eventually bring it back to the state of life with few negative consequences. Early experimentation into this were proven futile, though they did help provide the basis for what are now known as Genetiks, due to the fact that they involved only the replacement of parts with other organic parts instead of mechanicaly crafted organs. However, The Dean's experiments first bore substantial fruit in 2026, when the first resurrected animal, a small lab rat, was brought back to life for a sum total of five days before once again dying. This, combined with the creation of the Hall of Unorthodox Science by other means, led directly to the first successful test of the Resurrection Process on a sapient being in 2028 - what is now known as the "Sally Smith Incident". It is a date noted for also cementing the bonds of friendship with the now fellow ally of the Glorious and United Kingdom of the Floor Kippers.

Since then, the influx in funding and the sales to several nations have allowed the Resurrection Process to be expanded and improved far past it's origins. While initially a public service offered by the Hall of Unorthodox Science, in 2037 control of the service and its accessibility to outside nations was transferred to the newly-made government business hub known as Amerik Multiversal. Though in face it is merely the first Front (short for Storefront, the term used by Amerik Multiversal to refer to a specific service offered) of Amerik Multiversal, in truth it remains run much the same as it was before - many of the people overseeing the economics of the Process were found competant and with enough merit to quality for similar positions under Amerik Multiversal.

Today, Amerik Multiversal offers the Resurrection Process to any who have the money and the will to cover the cost, though diplomatic relations factor into the final cost. In almost all cases, the transaction is relatively simple - the payment plan will be arranged, the body sent over, and the surgery made, with the resurrected body put into a stasis coma while payment is waited for. Once the money is wired or otherwise sent over, the patient shall be taken out of stasis, and shipped back to the nation who placed the order.

Today, in 2042, the waiting rooms for nationals of the deceased still waiting to go through the Resurrection Process. Many will have to wait weeks or even months, even with teams of doctors working around the clock, before their turn at attempting to be risen can be undertaken. Don't worry, though - special overseas procedure and use of time travel means your bodies won't have to wait that long before undergoing the process.

Our Service

The Holy Technocracy of New Amerik and the Hall of Unorthodox Science are in fact the primary backers behind the Resurrection Process, as Amerik Multiveral is a government and scientific-run business organization with many members in the Divisions. All money paid goes to the Imperial Division, where it is broken up and filtered across time and space to where most needed, as well as to fund the national budget and distribute to the nation of course. It is hoped that by opening up this service to the multiverse we may make a difference that can be actually felt, and to better restore life to the multiverse as a whole. In addition, proceeds from the Resurrection Process also go to more scientific research, and in time it is hypothosized that the Holy Technocracy may open up other similar services to the public.

The Resurrection Procedure

1. The body in question shall be laid out, on the operating table, completely nude and exposed to the doktors operating in the process. A cursory check of all wounds, organic failures, and need patch-ups will first be conducted, and the corpse and instruments washed clean of any dirt or disease.
2. The corpse shall first be opened up, neatly down the torso, and all organs taken out. The brain alone shall be left, but the kidneys, intestines, heart, stomach, lungs, liver, and other such elements will be neatly taken.
3. The doktors will then take the appropriate organs, and using their finest tools and a good deal of time make mechanical replicas of them. This is one of the more time-consuming processes, due to the need to accurately assemble each individual organ for perfect results. Mass produced organs can be used, but in general will be of a lesser quality than those individually made.
4. Once the organs have been thus crafted again, they will be inserted into the body, and put in their proper places. Appropriate liquid pumps are also installed, which take the nutrients put into the body by outside sources (eating being one such source) and turn them into lubricants and acids designed to keep the machinery from drying or otherwise becoming disagreeable.
5. Other surgical procedures will be performed as necessary to heal or close any wounds to the muscles, bones, or miscellaneous areas of the body. While organic replacements are preferred, if too severely damaged or if high quality is not desired then mechanical replacements may be used.
6. Now, the blood must once again be put in and be able to flow. While the organs (in particular, the heart) are already designed to keep the blood smoothly flowing throughout the body, nanites designed to clean, protect, and also circulate the blood will be put in at the same time additional blood is injected into the body. The body will be closed up shortly before this, leaving only the slimmest traces of a scar.
6.5. (Optional) At this point, the normal process for preparing the body of the deceased is complete, and under a normal surgery the body would pass on directly to Step 7. However, should any High Quality Materials, Metapsychology Improvements, or other additions or modifications be requested, then further surgery shall result according to the modification(s) requested. After all modifications, additions, subtractions, or other miscellaneous changes have applied, the body will be sent on to Step 7 as normal.
7. Once the main part of the body is done, the Alienists will hook the head up to an electrocution machine, designed to deliver sharp and sudden shocks to anything it is hooked up to - a defibrilator, really. The reason for this is that the main part of the brain must be prepped for a sudden surge of activity, designed to bring it back into working order so the process of living can be started fully.
8. The last step occurs when the doktors have hooked the various wires and sundry equipment up to the brain Immediately, the doktors will shock the brain with great jolts of electricity, causing the brain to start functioning automatically. Once this is done, the blood will circulate, the organs will start to function, and the person will shortly start to breathe, and then gain consciousness. Be forewarned that the person will not have any memory of events anywhere from an hour to two weeks before their death took place. The person may then be free to go, though care must be taken to inform them about the physical replacements for parts of their body.
9. If it should please anyone reading this to attempt to try such a service on their own country, we would kindly advise against it. We would give many reasons, including the natural weakness of our universe, the skill of our doktors, or our sheer luck in developing on in the first place, but the ultimate truth of the matter is that the Resurrection process is highly experimental, using some of our more secretive inventions and discoveries to even keep the patient from developing violent insanity at just having realized they were dead. The Resurrection Process is not for either the faint-of-heart or the particularly sane, and though we freely detail what we shall do, we shall not give out how exactly we make it work. It is a...'trade secret', we beleive it is called.

Price Guide
It should be known, before one chooses to make any hasty decisions, that the Resurrection process is not a fool-proof, or even perfect one. One cannot just bring back a dead ancestor from ages past, or expect the doktors to build an entirely new body for a man who has, say, been cremated. There are a few guidelines to follow, and prices to pay based on the status of new life after the process.

The average quality of a Resurrection process, in other words with a somewhat undamaged body, date of death less than a year, and with an average increased lifespan before repairs/second death of +10 years, runs up to a total of around 6 billion dollars. Be advised, this is not a price based on greed - rather, it costs us well into the millions to even bring such a process into existence, and we must recap our costs somehow. In addition, the so far monopoly on this process we do have ensures that we could conceivably raise it well into the billions if we would so choose - in this case, however, we are content with our current set price. Variables, in addition, may raise or lower the price of such a process.

We regret to say that due to the circumstances of the burial the body of one George S Patton cannot be resurrected, with the standard problem being that, if we are to assume standard year being 2011, the corpse has been lying in a grave for well over sixty-five years, a factor that means whatever would be left of his brain would be too rotten to sufficiently revitalize.

It must be noted by the Holy Technocracy, again, that the process of Resurrection is not a wonder cure. It will not enable us to bring back someone who has been dead for so long their brain has reached the point to where any attempts to revive would end up with a massive bill on the donators part and failure on ours. For best results, please store all corpses wished to be revived in safe freezers so as to preserve them as long as possibly. The maximum number of years, at best, we estimate we would be able to bring someone back from the dead is around fifteen or so, and only if said body was well-preserved in some manner, like it is rumored that of Lenin's body in Novaya Russia.
