Thank you for your message. We at THR don’t accept your terms under the conditions that they are presented.

The board of directors enjoy the idea of catering for Imperial Isles Airways, but our food is not made for transport. Another method of preparation would have to be created.

For example, if you have on-board kitchens, our chefs can be hired to work in there, so long as they are provided with all the exact ingredients to cook. We will not tarnish our company’s pristine reputation by serving traditional “airplane” type food.

Because this feature may not be available on all aircraft, the President has suggested that maybe only first class passengers and passengers on large aircraft be allowed THR services.

I thank you for getting back to me. I fully understand this, and would like to work with you on setting this up. We do have limited kitchen facilities on our larger aircrafts. Please let us know what sort of equipment is necessary and we will see what we can get setup on these aircrafts. Your concern about pre-made food is fully understood, and would be interested in knowing if you would be interested in creating a subbrand of La Vigneto for doing that for aircrafts incapable of having a kitchen onboard the aircraft. If not, that is fine but wish to bring that idea up with you anyway, as we do have kitchen facilities designed specifically for that. We would expect quality food that can be warmed up in the air.

Thank you for your timely reply.

The Vigneto will be served on the largest aircraft that contain kitchen facilities. Chefs will be transported to wherever they are needed and will be accompanied by the needed equiptment. We reccomend that staff be allowed 2 weeks of training time to get acustomed to cooking while onboard.

On the smaller planes, we have agreed to created a seperate brand called Cibo Imperiale. This food will be cooked in the land kitchens within airports and warmed up while in flight.

What costs will both our companies pay for setting up these services, and how many years will it take to turn a profit?

We would be happy to split the cost evenly between our two companies, and sell you our land kitchens at half the value. It will be profitable for you sooner as we will still be paying for the food, and we estimate that, given the cost, it will take one and a half years to cover your half of the cost. It will take longer for us, estimating four years before we will begin seeing profits above and beyond our cost. We believe this will help to increase our sales, keep our customer loyalty even higher than it is, and will ultimately be beneficial to us, as it benefits our customers. Add to that, this will also cut down our overhead for doing the food ourselves.

Long term, we see this as an extremely profitable business deal for both of us. We would be happy to allow a training time, as we know that will only help with quality. We will keep your company updated on our flight schedules so that your chefs can be onboard our larger aircrafts, along with their necessary equipment, and so the pre-cooked food can also arrive correctly as well.
