The CEO of the SMC and the Head of 'The Soviet Advance' have merged to create a project worthy of the Knights of Camelot. They both excellently present to you:
[Project: OPEN SKY]
'Project: OPEN SKY' combines the manufacturing giant 'The Soviet Manufactorers Company' and the Space Organization and MOD Air Force, 'The Soviet Advance' challenged by the Soviet Parliament to create a new breed of aircraft and spacecraft (possibly both) for international marketing!
The project is supposedly to involve aircraft's similar to the V-22 Osprey and the Harrier Jump-Jet, with VTOL capabilities.
[Project Designs]
No full design has yet been created, but sections are already in progress.
But, a unique engine similar to a tail rotor of a Comanche has been brought to the drawing board. Using turbo-fan properties, the design uses a enlarged Harrier intake turbo-fan to gain powerful lift from a UFO shaped power-plant to fit into the empty space of the Engine surroundings. The diameter of the blade is considered to be atleast 2 meters.

A = Low pressure compressor
B = High pressure compressor
C = Combustion chamber
E = High pressure turbine
F = Low pressure turbine + Core nozzle
G = Fan nozzle
[Funding & Investment]
'Project: OPEN SKY' receives 50% of the funding from the Soviet Parliament from the possible 100%. The other 50% 'Project: OPEN SKY' relies upon investments from other nations and donations. The current project may need up to $2,500,000,000. But small investments and donations are fine.
