HMC is proud to announce that it's medical research teams have created the first-ever portable machine to treat hypertension caused by kidney disease, designed by chemical engineering professor Dias Venara. Not much larger than a deck of cards, this battery-operated device pumps filtered water from the bloodstream into a small bag worn discretely under one’s clothes. The device will require only two trips per week to the dialysis clinic rather than the standard three, which will extend patients’ life spans and tackle other side effects such as weight gain, high blood pressure and swelled lungs and legs.

“Current dialysis treatment regimes are arduous, time-consuming and incomplete,” said Dias. The main aim of the invention, he said, is to make it as unobtrusive as possible. “Many patients receiving dialysis are socially and economically isolated as their treatments are a major disruption to normal life,” he said, noting that a twice-a-week dialysis routine would allow many incapacitated patients to go back to a working lifestyle.

A baccal, intramuscular; and intravenous administered analgesic containing Fentanyl. Onsotanyl™® starts taking effect orally within a Patient about 30 to 45 minutes after administration and has an effect length of 4 to 6 hours. Intravenous administration starts taking effect within 30 seconds to 1 minutes and has an effect length of 3 to 4 hours. It is strongly advised that Onsotanyl™® be administered in first-time dosages of 5µg or under for Non-Opioid Tolerant Patients.
