I am an ambassador of the Republic of Cassandra Alyce Silver, from the ministry of defense. Though my nation are peaceful people, they grow increasingly distressed by our lack of military. I, being new to my post, am unsure of what my country needs. What would you suggest?

Military needs differ greatly by nation. Many of those questions can be answered by looking at your nations geography. If for example you are an island nation naval forces would be needed to maintain sea lines of communication as would an air force. If you can provide a bit more information we would be happy to answer your question in greater depth. You must also ask yourself what is the purpose of your military as that dictates force structure. With your navy are you seeking to defend your nation and protect your interests at sea, or are you wanting to project power. For land systems are you an army of liberation or an army of conquest? The same questions apply for air forces as well. With more info a solution can be tailored for your nation.

My home nation is a group of small to average sized islands around one main large island. It is relatively mountainous, but with low souther islands. There are primary seven islands, plus countless smaller ones.

Also a mix of destroyers and other ship systems to act as guard for the carriers. I would also advise you to go with maritime patrol aircraft and a decent fighter aircraft to patrol your airspace.

At this stage you're a developing nation. The need for large capital ships is not a requirement for you at this time. Perhaps six Immaculate Class vessels as they have flexibility in their use and outfitting. Two Mako class destroyers to give you a missile defense capability. Eight Sea Horse maritime patrol aircraft. While the Diablo would more than meet your needs for an air superiority fighter its capabilities are reflected in its price point. On the market you will find aircraft that can perform the mission you require at a lower price point. Your nation could outfit itself properly for your current needs at a price point between 2.5-4 billion. Obviously your defense needs will grow as your nation expands.

I'm giving the go-ahead for the launch of the communication satellite discussed; funds have been transferred in preparation for that ($5,000,000 extra for your benefit. A complete dossier of transferred funds is available below.) as well. We await deliverance of those items already ordered, and would like to press an order for a second set of assets.
