The Lee Boulet class of Hospital Ships is the primary class of hospital ships for the Pennsylvanian Federal Navy, based off of the hull of the Muscovy Class Ultra Large Crude Carrier. In order to make the design work, the hull of the Muscovy Class. save for the engineering compartment was gutted and replaced with a completely re-designed interior layout, more conducive to the handling of wounded and sick. Maximum patient handling for minor injuries can run up to totals of 5,600 patients, while variants with more complete capabilities, such as up to two dozen fully equipped operating rooms, a fully stocked Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory, Radiological Department and a CAT Scan, among others would reduce patient capacity down to around 2,500. The ship is also capable of embarking a half dozen MV-22 Osprey sized helicopters for the purpose of medical evacuations and arrivals.

The Lee Boulet class is widely regarded, both amongst the Pennsylvanian Military and civilian agencies, as one of the most capable ships of its type, thanks to its ability to embark large numbers of patients and the ability to effectively care for some of the most heavily injured or most sickly people the vessel and its crew could see.
