W-30 "TOMBO"

Price: N$D 1500 per unit.
W-30, nicknamed "Tombo" ("Dragonfly") is an FPV drone from the Holy Nifonese Empire. Developed on basis of a successfull commercial drone, it shares over 80% of the parts with it's commercial equivalent.
- The drone has been built on principle of modularity. The flight unit is separable from the mission unit, allowing constant modification of the design.
- The upper part of the drone's body houses the flight systems.
- The lowed part houses the fight controls, the payload and the optics.
- The modules are connected with a simple screw, allowing the operator to replace the module by simply unscrewing the
- The drone is 60 centimeters long and has diameter of 10 cm.
- The mission weight is 5.5 kilograms.
- The majority of the body has been constructed out of high quality plastic.
- The propulsion is provided by two 1800KV electric engines coupled with lithium ion batteries.
- Responsible for propulsion ate two co axial rotors.
- This kind of setup has a considerable advantage. It is mechanically simpler than a quadrocopter, thus reducing energy consumption and allowing the drone to reach higher ranges. It also increases the drone's performance in adverse conditions by guaranteeing high stability.
- The drone can operate up to 20 km away from the starting point.
- Flight time 25 minutes.
- Maximum speed 70 km/h.
- Control via FPV googles and a control pad.
- 4G link with the operator.
- The drone's payload can vary depending on the mission. The most common are:
* Kamikadze Payload: A 480 pixel camera provides high quality imagery, alongside 2.5 kilogram warhead detonating downwards, allowing for a top attack against a vehicle:
- HE
- HE-FRAG
- THERMOBARIC
* Recoanissance Payload:
- 1050px camera with 6x zoom, 640px thermal imager.
- Radioelectronic recoanissance module.
- The drone is capable of flying autonomously along a pre-planned route.
- The launch is done via a pneumatic catapult.
