Background: The TAB-3000 is the Allanean attempt to respond to the need for a modern, joint-services, programmable fuze heavy bomb, capable of being carried externally on high-speed aircraft capable of lofting its weight, as well as internally on heavy bombers and converted cargo aircraft. For this purpose, Allanean Arms was commissioned to design a new bomb, with an aerodynamic body, capable of accepting digital fuzes and designed from the ground up to be able to be updated with a modular glide kit.

Two extended range kits were proposed and adopted for the bomb, the G (Glide bomb) and P (Powered) bomb kit, with the TAB-3000-G being capable of carrying out strikes to a distance of 80 km, and the TAB-3000-ER being capable of striking out to a range of 150 km. All TAB-3000 series bombs are equipped with an anti-handling device, and therefore, should they not explode upon impact, attempting to cut, drill, or move the bombs may cause their detonation. A time detonator may also be used, causing the bomb to detonate up to 48 hours after its initial deployment.
Moreover, all bombs, including the freefall version, may be programmed to explode either at a certain altitude, on impact, or immediately after impact, after the bomb penetrates into the earth.
The glide and powered kit are both equipped with INS and GNSS navigation, and can receive targeting updates mid-flight. Terminal guidance image comparison via the camera sensor enables a limited anti-ship capability. Moreover, should communications or satellite navigation be jammed, the bomb can proceed via INS data and terminal image comparison).

TAB-3000: This is the baseline TAB-3000, high-yield bomb. Its body is produced of a combination of steel and plastics, enabling approximately 1,550 kg out of the total bomb weight to be explosive weight, which means that it is an extremely efficient munition compared to other bombs of this size.

TAB-3000-B: This is a rocket-assisted, bunker-penetrating bomb, capable of piercing up to 8 meters of reinforced concrete, equipped with a hard tungsten penetrator followed up with approximately 450 kg of high explosive filling that detonates after maximum penetration is accomplished. The bomb is equipped with a hard-target, void sensing fuze, allowing it to be programmed to detonate when an empty space within a bunker is reached, even if the penetration potential is not exhausted.

TAB-3000-FAE: This bomb contains approximately 1100 kg of incendiary gel for use as a fuel air explosive. While the resulting blast does have a lower brisance (a lower ability to damage bunkers and other hardened facilities), the ability to destroy light structures, injure exposed personnel, equipment, and even enemy personnel inside fortifications is devastating.

TAB-3000-C: This bomb contains 1,200 combined effects submunitions, each of them capable of engaging enemy personnel with its fragmenting-shell body, striking light vehicles and in some circumstances even tanks (should it strike the roof) with its HEAP warhead, and setting fires with the zirconium-aluminum incendiary hull ring burning at 1200 degrees Celsius. Each individual bomblet is fitted with a self-destruct device detonating 24 hours after deployment, should it fail to detonate, and an anti-handling device to prevent reuse by enemy personnel.
