Welcome to Saint Monkey's largest Airport, Chimpangutan. Located just north-east of the capital, there's plenty of connections into the capital. Most importantly for the tourists, a 20-30min metro ride can take you to the main resorts across Chimpangutan Beach. The First Terminal opened all the way back in 1921, becoming the 3rd Airport in the whole of Saint Monkey, with the airport being upgraded for Military use in 1941 and passenger upgrades in 1965, 1979, 1990 and finally in 2015. Terminal 2 is 30 years younger, after being opened in 1951. The Airport has also had upgrades in 1980 and 2017. T3 is the newest and one of the most modern Airports, being opened in 2011. It had a small upgrade in 2022. There is rail, metro, bus and tram routes into the city, and shuttle buses between the airport hotels. Transfers are also done by tunnels between the airports. There is a cargo airport a couple kilometres south, and an exclusive terminal, although officially part of T1, for the luxury brand of FTRM (Fly The Right Monkey). Saint Monkey have many National Airlines. SAM (Saint Air Monkey) the National Airline, GoMonkey, FlyMonkey and Saint Monkey Air all all of them, and will already have gates, especially SAM and GoMonkey as this is their hub, and their HQ's are also located here. There is free wifi in all terminals, with 70 Mbps speeds across a some areas in the Terminals. With 170 stands there is plenty of space for parking your aircraft overnight, and 10 public depots, free for all aircraft to use. These are further north than the main terminal, with the ATC being located at what is known as "North International" The area where business, storage and other workspaces are for the airport, like the fire service, and security base, with many armoured vehicles being stored their in case of emergency. Overall, Chimpangutan Intli' is a very modern aiport, with a brilliant tropical backdrop, with some 5 star Meeshlin dining.
Terminal 1:
Terminal 1 opened in 1921, with 3 gates. The departure lounge has great quality shops and food, with low prices for Airports. The Mini Aviation Museum showcases the history of Saint Monkey's aviation, from battles to crashes, and great moments throughout Saint Monkey's History. It was build by farm architect Isabela Yucatan, who was 80 years old when she completed the Airport. She was originally designing farms, but after building the well-known Manta farm, she was called up by the government for the airport. At the moment, the Terminal has 39 retailers, with 11 free spaces, 36 gates and 15 check-in gates. They have 1 free premium lounge, whilst the others are filled up by other companies. The SMKF (Saint Monkey Kid Federation) rates our play areas 9/10.
Terminal 2:
Terminal 1 opened in 1951, with 10 gates. The departure lounge is a lot more luxury, with a new modern Sky Mall and Gardens. This idea was first put up with creator Harold Gonzales, and he got his wish 10 years after he died in 1970, when they created the gardens, which was first just an extension of the departure lounge, and turned into a garden in 1980. So it was build by "Modern" for the times architect Harold Gonzales. At the moment, the Terminal has 79 retailers, with 21 free spaces, 48 gates and 20 check-in gates. They have 6 free premium lounges, which are smaller than Terminal 1, but still continuing to have the luxury charm. whilst the others are filled up by other companies. The food in the Chimpana Restuarant is rated 3 Meeshlin-Starr, and there is also a capsule hotel in the Sky Mall and gardens that you can stay for transfers, which was another concept by Harold Gonzales, which was put to life in 1980.
Terminal 3:
Terminal 3 is the newest and most modern terminal. Opened in 2011, and designed by Koanu Rodriguez, she wanted to make this Airport, "A Fun Experience, and not just waiting for your flight", so that's why there's a small waterpark within the Airport. This is a unique part of T3. It also has a cinema, which shows films daily for free. With another garden, it is a more an activity airport, with a lot to do before taking your flight. It begun with 40 gates, and has expanded to a 75 since. It has 40 Check-in Desks, 120 retailers, with 50 free spaces, and 15 free premium lounges. There is 3 restaurants with 5 Meeshlin-Starr dining, and 2 capsule hotels within the Airport. There is also a mall in the arrivals zone, called the Welcome to Chimpangutan Mall.
