Agrivovan-Tyrarconian Trade Treaty of Fort Tishatana

Postby Agrivova » Sun May 30, 2010 5:00 pm

This Treaty is to officially formalize the first Official Trade Treaty between the Nations of Delaclava, Agrivova and Tyrarconia, while simultaneously creating a mutual-aid coalition between these three nations.

ARTICLE ONE: A Coalition promising mutual aid (Including Defensive aid) will be hereby activated upon the signing of the representative nations of Delaclava, Agrivova, and Tyrarconia. Furthermore, The Final Rome and Oraris are also invited into membership-their entrance into the coalition will be immediately valid upon their signing of this treaty. Each nation will have one (1) vote, with the ability to be reduced to one half (0.5) or No vote upon decree of the other nations. This vote will encompass all aspects of civilization, including the move for war, the instigation of a trade agreement, etc. The coalition is to be named the Atlantian Oceanian Coalition of Delaclavca, Agrivova, and Tyrarconia, (AOCDAT) Which will be amended to include Oraris and the Final Rome to become AOCDATOR should they choose membership in the Coalition.

ARTICLE TWO: To combat the rising threat of illiteracy in the nation of Agrivova, a trade agreement is hereby in effect between the nations of Agrivova and Delaclava. Delaclav ships (Using Agrivovan fuel) will transport a monthly quota of 2,500,000 Educational Books on topics ranging from basic reading and writing to advanced subjects such as calculus and military science, to Agrivova. The ships will then be refueled free of charge (Excluding a small tariff for protection while within out borders). A monthly load of 25,000 AK-107 Rifles, Each with a bandolier of ammunition containing 6 magazines (Each magazine containing 30 5.45X39mm Rounds, for a total combat load of 180 Rounds) as well as a basic stock-contained cleaning kit will then be loaded onto the ships and sent back to Delaclava for distribution. This process will be repeated until a AOCDAT(OR) Resolution decides the Agrivovan Literacy Crisis has stabilized, at which point the trade agreement will be amended.

ARTICLE THREE: To combat the rising threat of illiteracy in the nation of Tyrarconia, a trade agreement is hereby in effect between the nations of Tyrarconia and Delaclava. Delaclav Ships (Using Agrivovan Fuel) will transport a monthly quota of 1,500,000 Educational Books on topics ranging from basic reading and writing to advanced subjects such as calculus and military science, to Tyrarconia. The ships will then be refueled free of charge using fuel transported from Agrivova (Excluding a medium tariff for A) Protection and B) Repayment for the fuel consumed by Agrivovan vessels while transporting fuel to Tyrarconia). A monthly load of 375,000 Gallons of Milk and 375,000 Pounds of Beef will then be loaded onto the Delaclav ships and sent back to Delaclava for distribution. This process will be repeated until a AOCDAT(OR) Resolution decides the Tyrarconian Literacy Crisis has stabilized, at which point the trade agreement will be amended.

Signed,
-James C. Murica, Acting Governor of the Armed Republic of Agrivova

The Republic and Haven of Oraris would be honored to be part of this Trade Treaty. Illiteracy must certainly be fought. As Oraris has a 100% literacy rate, we can most definatly help.

Oraris hereby signs and ratifies this treaty.

To: AOCDATOR, the Atlantian Oceanian Coalition of Delaclava, Agrivova, Tyrarconia, Oraris, and the Final Rome

It was discovered that due to the topics that the treaty concerned, two necessary people were not called for the vote. Therefore, a revote was held.

President Vaoco Schneider - AYE
Vice President Dominic Seminov - AYE
Secretary of Education Cadywen Izedogon - AYE
Secretary of Defense Nathan Ballard - AYE
Chief of Defense Tara Watkins - ABSENT; Watkins is still absent on her meeting with senior officials in the nation of Sarzonia.
Secretary of State Jere Cavalet - AYE
Secretary of Diplomacy Rod Clark - AYE
Trade Representative Elisa Gints - AYE
National Security Advisor Tyler Mays - NAY; Mays believes the nations being helped in the treaty to be "loose cannons".
Master of the Treasury Kabi-Coas Mialnoith - PRESENT; While there are positives, there are concerns with Mialnoith about whether this will "break the bank".
Summacesaraparlamontseur Les Wineman - ABSENT; Wineman was undergoing surgery for a broken hand after a fall.
Director of Environmental Protection Lynn Duran - AYE
Secretary of Natural Resources Vince Espinoza - NAY; Espinoza is concerned of the toll that the providing of books will have on the supply of natural resources.

Despite the vote changes, there is still an overall "AYE" - 8-2-1-2 - from this council, and Delaclava's support for the treaty is reaffirmed.

Sincerely,
Vaoco Schneider, President of Delaclava

Revision

Postby Agrivova » Tue Jun 08, 2010 11:47 am

Based on AOCDATOR rulings, the third article of the Agrivovan-Tyrarconian Trade Treaty of Fort Tishatana is hereby invalid. Also, the AK-107s shipped to Delaclava are now cased, and come with Ammunition, a Bayonet, and necessary training materials. In exchange, the new cost of each is 115 Books, raising the total quota to 2,875,000 per month
