Background: The BybosTM Assault Telehandler has been submitted by Untelin Inc. as a response to a Free Kingdom Armed forces tender for a series of forklifts, telehandlers, and container handler capable of operating with the armed forces directly in the area of operations, supporting amphibious landings, and providing direct support to tube and rocket artillery.
In other words, the vehicles taking part in the competition were meant to provide a response to a logistical support need to armed forces that would be in a war zone, anywhere short of the very leading edge of the front line. For instance, if a force landed on a beach-head, then BybosTM Assault Telehandlers would land soon after the first wave of Marine Infantry, help unload supply vehicles and aircraft and help move ammunition for artillery vehicles.
To accomplish these goals, several design choices were made early on in the design of the BybosTM Assault Telehandler. In its base variant, it is capable of operating on reasonably hard terrain, where roads and concrete-paved unloading areas are not available for the support vehicles. The base variant is only partially armored (protected at certain angles against shrapnel and small-caliber ammunition), but an Armored Cabin Kit, protecting the driver’s cabin from small arms fire up to and including 7.62 rifle ammunition) is available for $25,000 New Dornalian. The vehicle is fully air conditioned and NBC-protected.
Further, the BybosTM Assault Telehandler comes with a hatch ring for a .30 machine gun (can be replaced with a machine gun RWS for an additional $25,000 New Dornalian). While does not turn the BybosTM Assault Telehandler into a tactical vehicle per se, it does prevent it from becoming entirely defenseless.
Moreover, the dimensions of the BybosTM make it capable of directly entering shipping containers to unload their interior. The vehicle’s small size and collision avoidance system make it capable of unloading helicopters, tiltrotors, and other craft of comparable interior dimensions.
Software:The BybosTM is equipped with a Level 4 Driver Autonomy System, as well as with the Forklift Automation Operating SystemTM as developed by Liberty Networks for the Free Kingdom Armed Forces. It is capable of carrying out a variety of loading and unloading tasks with limited to no human supervision after setup. The system is fully integrated with the Liberty Networks Jambhala Logistics Management System and the Schwerpunkts Bastion II.
Auxiliary equipment: Each Bybon TM Assault Telehandler Forklift ships with two sets of fork blades( 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters long, for larger and heavier load) and a personnel platform for work at heights.
While it is armed, the Bybon TM Assault Telehandler Forklift is not a tactical combat vehicle. Neither Untelin Inc. nor Allanean Defense Exports shall be held liable for any use of this vehicle in that capacity.

In this configuration, the vehicle is fully clad in armor, and the boom is equipped with an armored platform, covered from the front with a composite shield armored against up to .50 BMG ammunition (the shield is 4 meters wide but the platform is only 2.5 meters wide). Instead of lifting cargos, the DoorkickerTM Police Assault Forklift can lift 3-4 officers in full gear to elevated windows, or operate with the shield on ground level with up to a dozen officers walking behind it in a ‘stack’.
