Radar systems: The principal radar systems on the [i]Argus are pair of multi-band maritime radar mounted in the front and stern deckhouses. The radar serve as an early-warning, ballistic defense detection, and air defense radar out to a range of 10,000+ km. This enables the Argus to continuously monitor wide areas of airspace for potential threats.

Beyond this, it is equipped with marine D-band and E-band radar, and is capable of detecting surface targets out to a range of 300 nautical miles.

Beyond these active systems, the Argus is equipped with a passive monitoring system enabling it to collect and record the emissions of navigational, aircraft, surveillance, and weapons radars in the commonly used military and civilian frrequencies. frequencies.

Radio surveillance systems: Argus is equipped with a variety of radio surveillance systems, capable of passive surveillance of UHF, HF, and a variety of other communications, as well as radar. It is capable also of launching light SIGINT UAVs.

Hydrography and SONAR: The Argus surveillance ship is equipped with a keel-mounted sonar station as well as a towed sonar array.

Work stations and command rooms: Present aboard the ship are three analysis supercomputers and a variety of analysis terminals for SIGINT analysts and sensors officers to aid in the processing of the information gathered and it collation and dissemination both in formats compatible with the Schwerpunkt Bastion and other common battlefield management systems. The ship is capable of hosting a full command headquarters for naval operations, and serving as a command ship.

Soft-kill torpedo and missile defenses: Like all ships of similar classes, the ship is equipped with a series of decoy launchers, for launching radar, sonar, and IR decoys. Chaff and multispectral smoke dispensers are also mounted on the ship, enabling it to disrupt active-radar and TV guidance with a degree of efficiency.

Hard-kill torpedo and diver defenses: Enemy submarines and combat divers are a continuous threat to aircraft carriers. The last line of defense against these is active counter-torpedo defenses, which in the case of the consist of four Kaa-class 300 millimeter launchers. Each of these is a ten-barreled launcher capable of launching anti-torpedo torpedoes to engage incoming unguided, wire-guided, and magnetic-guided torpedoes, as well as enemy combat divers. Moreover, the system can serve as an additional decoy launcher. Upon expending their ammunition, the Kaa launchers can be rapidly reloaded.

Moreover, the ship is equipped with a Banshee sonic pulse weapon, produced under license from Allanean Arms, - essentially a series of high-power sonars, with a purpose not so much of detecting anything, but rather of stunning or even killing enemy divers. The Banshee does this in the same manner in which sperm whales stun fish from miles away - by unleashing a loud sound from some, or all, of the underwater sound output devices with which it is equipped (it is possible to ‘direct’ the sound somewhat by activating the system on only one side of the ship, so that the other side is somewhat shielded from the high-yield ‘shriek’.

Due to the vast power of the Banshee it is capable of causing severe internal injuries to enemy combat divers as far as 1000 meters from the hull.

The Banshee system is a powerful weapon and any use of it should be done with consideration of the usual safety concerns for sonar and weapon deployment. Neither Allanean Arms or Rythar Industries is responsible for any health, property, or environmental damages that may arise from the use of the Banshee.

The exact layout of secondary surveillance and communications systems mounted on the Argus may be adjusted to customer desires.
