HISTORY
The Krasny-Volnan defense industry consists of various enterprises subordinate to the Ministry of Defense which are directly involved in, or subcontract for, Krasny-Volny's international military technical development programs. The defense industry includes companies from both the private and public sectors. Based on official statistics from 2022, this consists of up to 24 separate enterprises with an aggregate work force of up to 10,000 employees. However, domestic contracts for the manufacture, upgrade, or overhaul of weapons and military equipment used by the Armed Forces of Krasny-Volny do not exceed twenty per cent of the potential capacity of the national defense industry. The limited domestic market and limited consumption of industrial products, including military hardware, are considered severely restricting factors on Krasny-Volny's modest economy. As a result, in late 2021 Krastecexport (KTE) was formed to reform the defense industry into an export-driven sector. It was hoped that the export of finished products and services would provide the lion's share of revenue to domestic defense contractors, fund future R&D programs, and provide the economy of scale to manufacture new products profitably.
PROFILE
KTE offers a wide variety of products and services, such as:
• Export of domestic defense products and materiel, including small arms, spare parts and components, and other products used for the development and manufacture of armaments. Rather than overly finicky and complex weapons systems, we specialize in low tech, budget friendly products that will still get the job done with the maximum number of commercial, off-the-shelf components for reduced maintenance costs.
• Repair services, maintenance, overhaul, and modernization of defense products. KTE offers discounted repair and overhaul services for the lifetime of any product exported through our agency, as well as older weapons systems of Soviet bloc origin with which our technicians are also familiar.
• Export of licensed technology. All our products are available for licensed assembly and/or production overseas. We will provide all the necessary design documentation and proprietary research and development material not available in the client nation.
• Education and training of foreign specialists in educational facilities in Krasny-Volny and abroad. At the client's request, we can provide an extensive training package for any weapons system exported through our agency.
PHILOSOPHY
Frankness and discretion lie at the heart of KTE's business philosophy. When we sell a product, our clients can expect total confidentiality in our dealings, coupled with zero administrative complexity, zero bureaucracy, and the bare minimum of export paperwork. Furthermore, KTE does not recognize the authority of any regional or international body to regulate or restrict arms sales, and any other attempts to interfere with the free exchange of goods - unilateral embargoes will be ignored. As long as our own sales policies are not violated, we will sell wherever the money's good.
SALES POLICIES
(1) Due to limited domestic manufacturing capacity, this storefront can and will be closed from time to time if the manufacturer is having a hard time filling existing orders. When the storefront is closed, new orders will not be accepted until production catches up.
(2) KTE reserves the right to refuse any order, for any reason.
(3) KTE will sell to private individuals, as well as non-state entities. All payments must be made in NSD.
