Background: Koomeriah is Hammond Motors’ response to the Allanean Armed Forces tender for a six-wheel crane capable of off-road operations and unloading ammunition trucks and trains in unprepared conditions, including in areas where normal logistics facilities are unavailable. Due to its off-road capabilities and versatility, the Koomeriah can be also used in civilian applications, for example, in infrastructure work and other construction work in areas where paved road structures are not yet available.

The entire crane system is equipped with drive-by-wire capability and can be controlled by the operator either from within the cabin or by a remote control pad when standing outside

Protection: Like the base Bovid, the Koomeriah crane can be up-armored (in this case, providing both the driver’s and operator’s cabins with ballistic protection and fitted to carry a machine gun on the driver’s cabin. Both the driver’s and crane operator’s cabin are NBC protected, and capable of continued operations in any weather conditions between -40 to +40 degrees Celsius.
