Although our fictional head of State insinuated that there would be nothing from fascist, Nazi or Stalinist nations crossing their borders, there is no real government to regulate anything that is traded to and from the Confederacy, in fact, there is not even an unified economic system in the Confederacy. Therefore, Third Spanish States operates under free trade, as arbitrary, government-enforced restrictions and tariffs over trade are considered tyrannical, and on behalf of myself and the people of Enclave City, one of the many politically independent cities across the Confederacy, and the most prosperous, de facto capitalist city of the Confederacy, I shall voice our support to such goal.

Fatatatutti practises unfettered free trade for all goods and services moving in, out, backwards, forwards, sideways.... The government does discourage trade with nations that are oppressive, aggressive, militaristic, colonialistic, etc.

How ever we also request to exchange embassy with one, another nation which would be the first step in establishing diplomatic relations and then establishing a free trade agreement with one nation with another.

[The Cardinal States]

Although the sheer notion of Free Trade is enough to send the willy-nillies down the backs of traders and merchants, it has worried the Presidency of the thought of "Free trade with no hitches at all". The Republic of The Cardinal States is not one to simply fall into the bandwagon along with other countries, despite it's fledging status. But, it has become the President's job to make an Executive Order and give the parliament 36 hours to make a decision. The decision of the parliament will be declared upon the end of the 36 hours.

Technically, Kirby J is open to free trade. The only "tariff" we require is moral outrage. And that's not really a tariff. Oh it should be noted that you will end up in court for something if you do import anything. But it's all for free!
