My Air Force has scheduled retiring it's F16 at the 31st of December 2022. As, We have been converting to F35A.

My offer has as advantage that conversion could be quicker than converting to a new type, keeping operational costs down. And, you could get additional support and spares as extra PW100-220 engines or APG66V3 Radars.

My Air Force still has 87 F16AM/BM serviceable, most in storage. We can provide you an offer for a number of them. They were upgraded to MLU M6 pack. That makes them comparable to F16C/D block 50. They have on average 2000 fly hours left, that could be increased via good maintenance or an overhaul.

A part my TG offer will include a service life extension. An a serie offsets like an upgrade of your current fleet to the same standard if they are not from the same version.

The MRF-1 "Groza" (Lauzannean: Thunderstorm) is a single engined 4.5 generation fighter designed to be operated by nations that need a competitive fighter but operate on somewhat of a budget. The plane is compatible with Western munitions, allowing for a shared munitions pool with your other fighters in service. For the stated price, the Naxeran government can receive 12 LF-1S single engine planes, along with a pair of LF-1D planes that can be used for training purposes. Compared to the F-16 it has the same power to weight, better optics, lower radar signature, superior radar (assuming F-16's offered and in stock are non F-16V variants), greater agility and greater combat radius, along with supercruise capability.

In addition to the airframes presented as part of the deal, there will be spares, technical support and flight training offered, with pilots from the 63rd Test Fighter Squadron providing training for your new Groza aviators. Although the number is considered low, 12 planes is more than enough to tip most scales in your favour against numerically superior but technologically inferior planes.

I am happy with the 3 candidates. Lausanne's MRF-1 is the most competitive Aircraft. But I could only afford in Short 12.

I will consider the offer.

I discard the Merlin. If got a LIFT that can double as light attack so I'd would be overlaping. But I'm interested in the AT-21 but is not a prioritary purchase. Because my T34 mentors are approaching their service life and.

So it will be limited to the second hand F16s and the Thunderstorm.

The 2nd hand F16 have pros: I already operate the type, mine have the same powerplant, I would be operating only one type, so less logistic costs, transition is going to be quick as some F5s and M5 pilots are already qualified for F16, Number or aircraft. More capable of my own F16s.
Contras:. Those F16 are older than mine built during the 80s and have less service life. If I don't take the overhaul offer. Anyway they can fly up to 2035 - 2040.

The Thunderstorm has as pros: of course is from a never generation 4.5 versus 4th. Has smaller RADAR section. And is more capable than a F16 except from V version.
I could have a fighter good for at least 2050. Also is much better than my neighbours have.
Contras: the number 12 vs 32. More logistic complications. Conversion is going to be longer with a complete new aircraft.
