-Work in Progress-
The Andromeda Exchange is the monitoring authority of the Andromeda blockchain, designed as a new stock trading and currency exchange mechanism with its representative currency known as the Andromeda Coin (MEDA or Ø). With the Andromeda blockchain established in numerous trading centers across the Ryzalian Domain, the Andromeda Exchange is the point of access through which international stocks, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and commodities can be listed on the Andromeda protocol.
Our primary objectives are to:
1) Maintain domestic strength and grow international competitiveness,
2) Ensure a high quality of service to our represented companies and our trading clients,
3) Ensure the nature of the Andromeda blockchain is best utilized for trading, and
4) Attract new clients to invest in the many opportunities worldwide that the Andromeda Exchange will present.
The Andromeda Exchange (AE) is an exchange entity operating from its headquarters in the District of Kaertani, capital of the Ryzalian Domain. It is a registered exchange entity in the Ryzalian Domain, and is one of the largest exchange entities within Ryzalia. The exchange is now accepting listings in the international community, looking to expand its exchange volume and capacities.
The Andromeda Exchange was founded by various stockbrokers and the creators of the Andromeda blockchain in an agreement signed in 2011. This agreement established the trading protocols of the Andromeda blockchain, created for trading experiments in 2010, and created an exchange program distributed between the nodes of the Andromeda blockchain. Later in 2011, after discussions with lawmakers, the Ryzalian Securities Commission recognized the Andromeda Exchange as a registered monetary and corporate holding and trade authority. By 2015, the Andromeda Exchange was listing significant portions of the Ryzalian economy in addition to listings on traditional stock exchanges.
In 2019, the Andromeda Exchange Management Group opened discussions regarding expanding access to the Exchange and the underlying Andromeda technology to the international community, with the installation of trading nodes in countries which desire such. The proposal was approved in June 2021, and the Exchange was also opened to listings of foreign companies, currencies, as well as additional cryptocurrencies, which were able to be traded on Andromeda after the Andromeda 3.0 update in early 2021.
