PEOPLE'S FEDERATION OF PAN-ASIATIC STATES
General Business and Economic Zone Clearance Thread
About
Basically, you can think of this as the GE&T equivalent of an embassy program, but with companies instead of nations. Once your liaison has been approved, and depending on the circumstances of that liaison, your company becomes part of the Pan-Asiatic States' lore. Your products or services could affect the national economy of the Pan-Asiatic States, and by extension, its destiny. Also, they could be featured in future RPs involving the Pan-Asiatic States (e.g. if you have been approved to operate a soda vending company, maybe a character from a future RP will buy one and drink it).
How to Use This Storefront
The Pan-Asiatic Economic Zone Authority encourages foreign investment in designate commercial areas of the Pan-Asiatic States, where the foreign sector can enjoy tax-cut incentives and near-zero tariffs. Through the Authority, the Pan-Asiatic government can more visibly regulate corporate movements, can better fix the overall size of the non-government business sector, and can better track their respective transactions - all the while giving some Asians access to foreign goods and services.
All foreign businesses, in accordance with federal law, must hire an economic inspector from the Asian Communist Party (ACP), who will audit, but not interfere with, transactions made within the country. This is simply a countermeasure to ensure no black market interaction, illegal siphoning, or political lobbying is made by foreign companies. There must also be one representative from the company who will actually live and work in the Pan-Asiatic States for the company in the same city as the regional office.

Something Else In Mind?
Do keep in mind however that, as stated above, not all liaisons are eligible, especially if they go against one of the Pan-Asiatic States' exclusive monopolies. Generally speaking, the less that what you're offering is a necessity, the less likely it is to be rejected. Economic liaisons between socialist countries and capitalist countries are usually trades for commodities inaccessible to the socialist one. So, if you're bold enough, give it a shot, and the Authority will review your proposal.
