Vardocalifar Air Link is a government-approved private airline and the flag-carrier airline of the democratic socialist nation of Vardocalifar. It's home base for domestic and international operations is Velorium (Andrew Sykes) International Airport [VDVLM/VLM]. International operations began on the 28th of January, 2021, with a VAL Airbus A321XLR bound for Aero International Airport in New Cerata taking off. VAL also operates domestically within Vardocalifar, with up to 146 flights daily between different parts of Vardocalifar.
History:
Although the VAL brand is relatively new, aviation has a proud and long history in Vardocalifar, with the first state airline Vardocalifar Airlines being founded in 1971 using a rented Boeing 727-100 under the government of President Mernitz Sankaratio. Vardocalifar Airlines fleet grew larger under successive governments but under President Andrew Greens 2019 FUTURES initiative to boost the Vardocalifarian economy while retaining its socialist traditions, the ownership of Vardocalifar Airlines was transferred to a heavily-regulated multinational coalition of investors under an umbrella corporation named the VAL Group. Domestic flights began under the VAL brand in 2020 and the first international flights began in 2021. In 2021, VAL/Vardocalifar Airlines also celebrated its 50th anniversary.

There are 4 basic ticketing scales, each with their own pricing.
Note: As per Vardocalifari tradition, there are no classes on VAL. Each standard seat on LRI flights is equivalent to a normal 'business class' seat, every seat on SRI flights is equivalent to a normal 'premium economy' seat, and every seat on Domestic and SeaHopper™ flights are equivalent to a normal 'economy' flight.

Online check-in via ci.airlink.vd is available, but manned counters are also available at all Vardocalifar Domestic Airports and at Velorium Andrew Sykes Airport.
Luggage Policy
1- Vardocalifar Air Link, Pty. Ltd. , or, "THE AIRLINE" shall bear no responsibility whatsoever regarding the condition of luggage taken with passengers on any of its flights.
2- Long Range International , or, "LRI" flight passengers shall be able to utilise 45 kg of STORED luggage space.
3- LRI flight passengers shall be able to utilise 8 kg of HAND luggage space.
4- Short Range International , or, "SRI" flight passengers shall be able to utilise 30 kg of STORED luggage space.
5- SRI flight passengers shall be able to utilise 5 kg of HAND luggage space.
6- Long Range Domestic , or, "LRD" flight passengers shall be able to utilise 25 kg of STORED luggage space.
7- LRD flight passengers shall be able to utilise 5 kg of HAND luggage space.
8- Short Range Domestic , or, "SeaHopper" flight passengers shall be able to utilise 5 kg of STORED luggage space.
9- SeaHopper flight passengers shall be able to utilise 1 kg of HAND luggage space.
