Official Notice of Interest in Commissioning a Bullpup Rifle for Use of the Nacradian Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defence hereby expresses interest in the procurement and adoption of a new service rifle, preferably in the bullpup configuration, in order to replace the dated Type 5 Infantry Rifle, following further combat experiences. The new rifle is to be primarily intended for use by paratroopers. All manufacturers are welcome to participate in this bid and submit their own designs, provided the design abides by the following standards:

1. Must use the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge
2. Selective-fire, with semi- and full-automatic settings, and preferably 3-round burst
3. Must have an effective range not less than 500 meters (546 yd)
4. When loaded with 30 rounds, mass not more than 3.50 kg (7.71 lbs)
5. Cyclic rate at or above 700 rounds per minute
6. Unit price not more than USD$750
7. Must be able to use a STANAG magazine

After an entry is accepted, we will contact your responsible departments to procure units, which will be rigorously tested on items including but not limited to accuracy, reliability and ease of repair. The units that pass these tests will be given to selective units, who will conduct operations with the respective models to determine the practicality of adoption. The MRS M2 is the figure product of the NDS. Used as main issued firearm in the Nanakian Military, it is the latest piece of equipment developed by the NDS in the assault/carabine section. This light and efficient gun, chambered in 5.56mm NATO, was first produced in 2004 and was then called M2P1, standing for prototype 1. Answering the NSDF offer call for modernization of their weapon pool, the M2P1 was directly confronted to NSDF trials and tests. A few changes were made on the prototype, and the final released version, the M2P2, to be later called MRS M2, was adopted by the Nanakian military. Development of this gun remains constant, trying to answer every constraint of the battlefield, constantly rethinking our development philosophy to match the soldier’s needs. At the time we speak, the M2 is at its 5th model (M2V5, developed in 2019). The gun structural architecture is thought to match the needs of the rifleman: the bull-up system of the weapon insures maximum stability and ballistic velocity; the stock is designed to be the most comfortable while looking down the sights, slightly raised to rest the neck; a comprehensive iron sights system with a rotating sight to adjust zeroed firing distance; a fully customizable gun thanks to its multiple railings and its easy structure, making it very simple to dissemble the gun to clean or change a part; and many more strong points.

The RSAF SA80 is a staple symbol of the British Commonwealth, and is one of the main products of weapons manufacturers in the 5 countries, and many other territories that make up the British Commonwealth. Constantly upgraded with the data provided by boots on ground, the SA80 is literally like the human race itself, ever evolving. This light, handy and stable rifle, chambered with 5.56x1.8in (5.56x45mm) NATO rounds has proved itself over and over again, against weaker enemies in Iraq, skirmishes with more advanced enemies south of Canada, more numerous enemies invading Hong Kong, as well as many other conflicts that the Commonwealth has took part in.

On the soldier's part, this gun is very easy to disassemble, and its modular nature allow any part to be changed without being confused, relatively comfortable and accurate when used with the SUSAT sight.

Brief description, if possible: The GR2020 Nacrad Combat Rifle (NCR) is an air cooled, short-stroke gas piston operated automatic rifle that fires from the closed bolt position. It is chambered in the 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge with ammunition loaded from STANAG-compliant 30-round double-column box magazines. The weapon has ambidextrous controls including a T-shaped non-reciprocating cocking handle on the rear receiver, ambidextrous fire control with side manual safety levers over the trigger and two-stage progressive trigger allowing selection between semi-auto fire (single shots) and full auto fire (three-round burst), and is supplied in left and right side ejecting versions. Internal parts are constructed from high strength chrome-moly alloy steels shrouded in an extruded aluminium receiver with glas-filled nylon furniture. Brief description, if possible: This highly advanced rifle was first put into service in 2018 it had been in development since 1989, though that may seem like an extremely long time this weapon is one of the most advanced firearms ever produced capable of fully automatic fire, semi auto fire, 3 round burst, 4 round burst, 5 round burst, and a 2 round burst. The JAR-21 has a built-in scope and iron sights. It can thold 5.56 Joyean or NATO rounds. With Joyean rounds it can have a 20,30,40, or 50 round box magazine or a 100 round drum. The firearm has a retractable stock that can be pushed into the weapon. The weapon if necessary may have rails installed for grenade launchers, flashlights, shotguns, or other devices.

Dear Sirs and/or Ma'ams,
your request for proposals, asking for a bullpup assault rifle for the Armed Forces of Nacrad, see reference number Ref. No.: DEF-N-2020-10-01, has been received by Gabha Blacksmiths Limited and, more importantly, we might have a rifle, which will suit your needs: The Carbine, Automatic, Model 2008, CAM 2008 for short, the current service rifle of the SDF.
It fires 5.56x45mm cartridges from a 30-round box magazine, both of Gabha-production, but rechambering and adapting the design should not be a problem. When loaded with such a box magazine, it weighs 3.8 kilograms, slightly above the weight limit set forth, but we do not believe, that 300 grams would be much of an issue. With a cyclic firing rate of 750 rounds per minute and a price of 470,000 NSD for 1,000 rifles, it meets your other specifications well.
In any case, you will find the attached form below. If it is wished, Gabha Blacksmiths can send evaluation examples and arrange for a team of the Armed Forces of Nacrad to come to the Free Lands in order to see the CAM 2008 in action with the SDF. Room and board would be our charge.
