Background: One of the great problems involving interregional air travel in the grand Multiverse of ours is the vast distances involved. With distances between regions often exceeding 10,000 kilometers, and including the vast travel lengths within regions, conventional aircraft have often been forced to either perform multiple layovers, or have the passengers endure incredible distances in the air in deeply uncomfortable seating positions.

The proposal of nuclear aircraft has often been made, but has usually been rejected on two grounds - the fear of many citizens of the aircraft themselves, and the requirement for extremely long, wide runways, which rarely exist and would often cost as much or more to build .

This Allanean Arms design is not innovative. It pulls on 1960s feasibility studies by the Lockheed company - which already then showed the feasibility of a nuclear-powered cargo aircraft of the proportions seen here. Like in the Lockheed study, the reactors powering the aircraft when it takes off are safe - even if it crashes into the mountain, the reactors are expected to remain undisrupted.

What differs here from most nuclear aircraft designs is the presence of VTOL internal combustion engines - capable of take-off and landing on any reasoanbly clean and sturdy surface capable of fitting an aircraft of this size. This allows the aircraft to only power on its nuclear reactors when it reaches a high altitude.

(The reactors themselves are closed-cycle molten-salt aircraft-grade reactors, and do not produce a substantial level of fallout - the VTOL drives are chosen to use internal combustion for the peace of mind of environmental organizations and civic groups only).

The Ultraluxury Configuration: While it is of course possible to stuff passengers in the Simurgh like sardines (and if you do this, you’ll get a lot of those human sardines on board!), we do not recommend doing this, certainly not for a direct 30,000 kilometer flight to Gholgoth. In the words of the classic, let’s not, and say we did.

We propose something diffrerent. In the luxury configuration, each of the passengers shall have their own enclosed cabin. In this cabin, they shall have a bed, a table, and a small TV set/computer screen. All items are provided in an extreme level of quality.

A suspicious reader might ask - why are there windows? The truth is, not all of the cabins are window-side - but all of them have windows. Where real windows are not possible, we will utilize high-quality virtual windows, enabling your passengers to have all the comfort of looking outside - and none of the nausea and discomfort of low-technolgy, low-quality virtual windows. No matter where on board the plane they are seated, luxury-class the Simurgh shall have all the comfort that true luxury-class travel implies.

So don’t wait. Order the AA-7900 Simurgh today.
