Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,

First off I would like to introduce myself. I am Nathanial Halsey, Commissioner of The Chuck Office of Commerce & Shipping. I am writing all of you today because I would like to announce another overhaul of the naval assets of the nation of The Chuck. Recently the government has decided to allocate 3 trillion Chuckian Argentums (5,585,700,000,000 NSD) towards the arming, refitting, and procurement of maritime vessels to be used by the Civilian Naval Militia, Chuckian Merchant Marines, and Civilian Mariners across the nation for both transportation of goods and protection while traversing the high seas. Our government would like to respectfully extend invitations to all foreign companies to bid on contracts regarding the procurement of new ships to be used by our citizenry. Of course we have a few stipulations that are outlined as follows.

1. All ships must be able to come with the option to be armed with significant armament systems
2. All cargo ships must be able to carry a minimum of 25,000 DWTs of dry cargo along with armament systems
3. All tanker ships must be able to carry a minimum of 55,000 DWTs of wet cargo along with armament systems
4. Any company bidding without a dedicated storefront will be capped at a maximum sale of 10 Billion NSD
5. Companies with a dedicated storefront will be capped at a maximum sale of 800 Billion NSD
6. The government is interested in diversifying our options and picks. We welcome all potential bidders

I hope many companies will be interested in showing off their wares and products for the government and citizenry to find what is most suitable to our needs.

Dear Mister Halsey,
it is a great pleasure to hear from you again, not only in a professional capacity, but also in a more personal. I hope, that everything is in order so far in The Chuck.

Please allow me to now come to the business-side of things: We here at Silverport Dockyards Limited heard about your quest for new vessels. While we are unsure as to what you mean by "significant armament systems", whether it is supposed to be enough to shoo away pirates or to fight naval battles, we would still like to throw our hats into the ring.
Said hats are called the Pattern 253 Freighter, a dry-bulk carrier with a capacity of 63.800 dwt, the Pattern 256 Tanker, a tanker with a capacity of 115,000 tons DWT, and, of course, the Pattern 263 Series of Cargo Vessels.
You will note, that none of these vessels will be delivered with armament, but they can be equipped with autocannons (we currently have one in the final development stages in the SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III 30mm Autocannon), small guns (we estimate up to 7.62 centimeter guns) and similar devices or repurposed into Merchant Aircraft Carriers - in fact, we are currently working on a modified Pattern 253 with that purpose. In any case, you will not be able to fight larger naval engagements with these vessels, but they will serve you well as cargo vessels.
If you wish to procure dedicated escort vessels and warships, SDY would be glad to assist you as well.
