Emishin Electric Railway Manufacturer Company, literary 咲溍电鉄製造会社 "Emishin Dentetsu Seizōgaisha" is a major rolling stock manufacturer based in Nagano, Emishin. In 1999, it abbreviated its name to "咲溍电鉄" Emishin Dentetsu. Its shortest abbreviation is Emiden "咲电". Emishin Dentetsu (Emishin Electric Railwork) was established on August 7, 1919, by members of the Imperial Family, Prince Kukafusa with the aim of providing timely mass transportation and capable of carrying in large loads for this country. Prince Kukafusa has great hopes for the development of railway transportation in Emishin where many people value timeliness as a social culture that continues to be preserved for generations in small families. After commemorating the centenary of the founding of the company in 2019, the management of Emishin Dentetsu has plans to produce trains and export them to friendly countries.
