Welcome to the Council of Free Market Economies! The CFME is an economic block for capitalist nations who are looking to strengthen their trade, as well as connect with other similar nations. This organization is for economies of all sizes. We believe no matter the size, everyone has something to contribute to the fantastic world of global trade.

Who is the leader of this organization?:
There is no one single leader. Your point of contact will always be invited to quarterly summits, whether they attend or not is there choice. Major decisions (such as collective tariffs) are made through voting. However, we have some departments that help with planning, organization, logistics, and much more.

Please Note: There is no way for the CFME to have control over your nation. This is a voluntary coalition. Not complying with decisions and policies is simply an infraction of an unwritten obligatory code.

What are our policies?:
1: Absolutely no communists, socialists, or any variant of the former. This organization is for free market nations to trade.
2: Tariffs above 10% may not be placed on products from member nations UNLESS those two nations are at official war OR the tariffs were in place before the nation in question joined the CFME
3: This is not a military organization. Member nations are far more than welcome to forge strategic alliances but it is not required to do so.
4: There is no single leader. Decisions are made through majority voting, at quarterly summits.
5: These policies will be updated as the Council meets.

1: Immediate access to the amazing Port Emberian Naval Transport Program and also the excellent Port Emberian Tourism Co-Operation Program from Port Ember
2: Allowed to participate in the negotiations on the CFME- Free Trade Area

The SUN, or any nation directly associated with it, is unable to (and doesn’t have any interest in doing so) join the CFME for obvious reasons, but as a fellow economic organization we would like to reach out to you. This is because, in this crazy world of ours, that only keeps on changing every day, one must have allies on both sides of the board. All four of the above applications are accepted. As a notice to all member nations, the first summit is roughly scheduled to take place in September-October 2019, in Selvik, the capital of the Cossack Khanate.
