When forces around the world are confronted with various mystical, arcane, or thaumaturgical forces, whether a demonic incursion, an attack by the Deep Ones, or whatever other sanity-shattering danger with which the multiverse sometimes chooses to challenge use, it is often necessary for the forces of law and order (or your local citizens' militia) to be equipped with some means to – quite literally – dispel evil's machinations.

Advanced Arcane Armaments LLC [or simply, A3], a private corporation spun off from some recent DREAD developments and run by several former staffers at DREAD, is hereby offering you the first generation in its Dispel Grenades.

Originally, the Armed Forces of the Free Kingdom had deployed a range of ordinary high-explosive-fragmentation munitions, on which a suspended Dispel Magic or Mordenkainen's Disjunction had been cast, with the munition's detonation also triggering this spell. This proved suboptimal, in situations where curses needed to be lifted from civilian installations, and thus the DG-1 was born.

The DG-1 operates on the same principle as above, except the underlying grenade is either entirely inert, or a less-lethal munition of the user's choice (typically, a flash-bang grenade). It is utilizes in the same way as a regular grenade equipped with an UZRGM-2 or similar fuze – pull the ring, throw the grenade, in about three and a half seconds there is a flash of radiant blue light, and spells within about a six-meter radius from the grenade are at risk of being dispelled.

Two significant subtypes of DG-1 are available – the DG-1 and DG-1A. The DG-1 carries the regular dispel capability. However, for situations where important, high-power enchantments, artefacts, etc. are used, the DG-1A (Advanced) is recommended. That grenade triggers infamous Mordenkainen's Disjunction spell, subjecting anything and everything magical within 12 meters of the impact to a risk of detonation.

It is worth noting that the core technology that allows to enter DG-1 into mass-production (the Sykes Transformer, and the Hestian towers, two distinct means for harvesting thaumaturgical energy from the environment) is classified, and not available to DPR. As such your organization or nation will not be able to save money by producing DG-1 grenades domestically, unless it already has a similar technology.

DG-1A grenades are manually enchanted by senior, highly-professional, thaumaturgists, and as such available only at the highest price.

Given the continued work done by Allanean and Marshite personnel, and those of other nations, to contend with sapient trafficking and slavery, and given the relative commercial success of Advanced Arcane Armaments' DG-1 and DG-1A grenades, it was decided to produce a specialized munition for use in hostage rescue.

The DG-2 is an enchanted flash-bang grenade (although other types of grenades can also be processed using our patented process), usually with a rainbow pattern printed onto its side to designate it (seen at the right side of the promotional image).. Upon being thrown, and the fuse triggering, the spell activates. Upon that point, a scintillating, rainbow-pattern is created, covering an area about 6 meters in radius. Individuals who see the pattern (a limit of about two dozen individuals is affected) will remain mesmerized by it, unable to take action as the pattern persists for about 50 seconds. There is no lasting health effect to this weapon, although obviously there may be health effects to the flash-bang itself, and obviously we do not recommend operating power tools while within the area of effect!

(Once the spell takes effect on its victims, additional individuals are not affected, nor are undead, or operators wearing appropriate protective equipment. Blindfolding detainees ends the effect).

To be certain, the DG-2 is a fairly expensive weapon system, costing as much as $1,600, and as such is not suitable for mass-deployment with conventional troops. However, it is our belief that its ability to be used in rescue situations and save civilian lives makes it invaluable to SWAT and Special Operations teams.

Many nations are nowadays forced to engage in elaborate measures to protect themselves from daemonic creatures invading from beyond the veil of our reality. The events of the Pandora Wars, and the recent invasions of daemonic creatures in Auman and other allied countries, have forced the Allaneans to give some thought to the issue of community protection against the various horrors that sometimes plague our reality.

For this purpose, Advanced Arcane Armaments has conceived of the Bunker of Protection from Evil. The principle of the Bunker is quite simple – the A3 arcane factories are equipped with facilities for the production of arcane energies that allow our thaumaturgists to charge up a set of arcane lattices at less cost to themselves than the production of magical items entails without such advanced assistance. A hemispherical bunker is poured at the client's facility (be it a factory site, a housing complex, or perhaps a residential neighborhood), of dimensions that coincide with those of a typical protective circle, and the lattices worked into the bunker's floor, with additional protective items fashioned into the walls. Upon the completion of assembly, a trigger word is spoken by an A3 employee (or perhaps a client representative), and the spell activates and becomes permanent. (Alternately, if you so desire, the bunkers can be poured and prepared entirely at our factory and shipped in a ready state, for substantial increase in shipping costs).

The results are simple: the bunker's interior, and part of the all thickness, is now protected from the entry of evil creatures such as daemons and evil spirits. (The exact specifications of the circle and the categories of creatures excluded can sometimes be negotiated if there's an unusual problem).

Beyond functioning as a protection from evil creatures from the beyond, the bunker is also a standard civil defense protective device. It can house 19-20 people following the ordinary civil defense guidelines for density and is equipped with the required NBC protection measures. The concrete we use is cured with reclaimed atmospheric CO2, and impregnated with carbon fiber strands, vastly improving its protective value, as well as allowing Advanced Arcane Armaments to remain an environmentally responsible corporation. The main door is shrapnel- and blast-resistant, while the concrete elements are resilient even against direct impacts from MRLS rockets and light aviation bombs.
(Breaches in the bunker walls will not damage the spell, as the principal elements maintaining it are housed in its floor. However, if the bunker walls are damaged or breached, obviously it is possible for its inhabitants to be attacked through any resulting openings.)

For the more martially minded, it is possible to connect the Bunker of Protection from Evil to remote control weapons systems, and allow you to defend against your extradimensional attackers while remaining in relative safety.

The Bunker of Protection from Evil is but the first in a line of up-and-coming technologies to protect the people of the free world from daemonic encroachment. Buy it – and you are not only protecting yourself, but funding further developments in this exciting field of thaumaturgical warfare.

In light of a series of incidents that have been seen during, and in the immediate aftermath of, the Pandoran Wars, the Bastion Incident, and other similar incidents, Advanced Arcane Armaments have developed and are now offering to clients the DG-3 Counterdaemon grenade.
The DG-3 is an enchanted flash-bang grenade (although other types of grenades can also be processed using our patented process), marked white (seen at the upper left side of the promotional image). Upon being thrown, and the fuse triggering, the spell activates. A flash of bright white light then appears, covering an area about 6 meters in radius. At this point, various daemons, abominations, and extradimensional entities within the area, and entities possessed by them, are affected as though exposed to sudden flame – others are not affected.

To be certain, the DG-3 is a fairly expensive weapon system, costing as much as $1,000, and as such is not suitable for mass-deployment with conventional troops. However, it is our belief that its ability to be used in rescue situations and save civilian lives makes it invaluable to those dealing with forces of the daemonic on a regular basis.

The success of the DG-3 Counterdaemon Grenade has caused Advanced Arcane Armaments to work with our clients to produce more powerful, longer-ranged, counter-daemon weapons, to help protect our clients from the mightiest of extradimensional evil abominations.

The Malleus CDGM is an enchanted high-explosive missile (although other types of grenades can also be processed using our patented process), equipped with optical sights and a laser guidance device. The user aims the CDGM and fires it, and it follows the laser at the evil abomination of your choice. Upon impact, and the fuse triggering, two things happen:
The spell activates. A flash of bright white light then appears, covering an area about 6 meters in radius. At this point, various daemons, abominations, and extradimensional entities within the area, and entities possessed by them, are affected as though exposed to sudden flame – others are not affected. However, what will affect absolutely everyone is the blast of half-a-pound of explosive (mostly focused forward, it will however probably still injure anyone standing close to the demon).

The device also causes a silver HEAT liner to be melted and thrown forward, through the daemon’s body. While silver is less effective at piercing conventional vehicle armor than some other materials, it is famously injurious to many kinds of daemons, as well as still capable of piercing the hulls of light vehicles and many older tanks. If you’re dealing with some manner of possessed daemonic machinery – this is the device for you.
