Overview
The Taming Sari-class Heavy Corvette is a class of multipurpose light frigates (designated 'heavy corvette' by the Prawati Navy) featuring highly advanced technology and weapons produced by the Prawati maritime defense corporation, Perahu Shipyards. As of 2018, eight Taming Sari-class Heavy Corvettes are in service with the Prawati Armed Forces Maritime Service. After a recent decision, Perahu Shipyards has decided to sell the Taming Sari-class Heavy Corvettes for export.
The vessel incorporates many designs from western ships and contains many hi-tech pieces of technology and the latest weaponry. It is a cheap vessel for its armament, and is considered to be durable and well armed, equipped with the capacity to carry one to two helicopters. The pricing of the frigate allows it to be a versatile asset in any navy, especially smaller ones.
Although the ship looks like a lightly-equipped vessel, most of its deadly weaponry are enclosed within the inside of the Corvette itself which gives it an edge over enemy vessels who may not regard the frigate with seriousness.
