Tiptec is the commercial division of the Bureau of Defense Technology Exports - itself a department of the Tiperyn Ministry of Commerce. Tiptec's mission is to act as the representative for several dozen Tiperyn defense contractors and arms manufacturers on the global stage and provide support to importers of Tiperyn defense products.
Tiptec offers a wide range of defense products, from firearms to aircraft, armored fighting vehicles and personal equipment. As participation in the Tiptec Program is voluntary for Tiperyn companies, new firms join continuously. This means new products will be added to its offerings regularly with corresponding announcements on its news feed.
Tiptec was founded in 1998 as an open joint-stock company under the order of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of the Sword and has grown to one of the largest arms exporting firms in Anterra. It is also among the largest of Tiperyn's multinational companies and the private interest most heavily integrating into Tiperyn's foreign policy strategy. Tiptec has its own offices within Tiperyn embassies to nations party to the North-South Concordant and maintains factories and distribution centers in nations throughout Anterra.
Tiptec pledges to do its due diligence to limit the risks of its arms from falling into the hands of criminal and terrorist organizations, as well as regimes guilty of human rights abuses. However, weapons purchased through this storefront may be used by its customers in any manner they see fit within their roleplaying and worldbuilding activities. The only purchases that are considered canonical to Tiperyn are those made by nations within Anterra.
