Having applications can minimize actual thought out RP, depending on how you word the questions on the app. If some of your questions are open ended, it can encourage some RP, but not as much as requiring an IC letter. Some storefront OPs require both a completed app and an IC cover letter. The theory behind not providing an application is to avoid rote basic apps that in turn avoid thought out responses.

It's a fine line. Personally I have storefronts of both varieties. My defense supplier storefront does not provide an app and I'm completely fine with losing out on customers that only want to fill out an application there. I think that Allanea feels that way, as well.
Many of my restaurant and beverage storefronts include applications because it's just easier to get the required information through a clear application, although even then I see certain parts of an app skipped over if it makes the poster think too much, putting the onus on me to think for them. It would be better if we could move GE&T back towards more roleplay, but the trend seems to be the opposite way with minimal company and product information in the OP of the storefront, and basic applications that require very little player response.

One thing I practice whenever I make orders is writing an IC letter along with it; as a matter of fact, all but one of my orders (and that one order that just had an app was among my first orders) use IC letters along with applications where applicable. It also helps me distinguish between government purchases (which come with an FOI advisory) and private purchases or government inquiries (which do not).

I'd advise making a logo. It really just makes it feel better. You could also add a corporate history, Ideals, and other details.

Your images are fine. For other details, you could make your form a bit more fun to fill out or make a list of the executives.

What would you like to do? What specifically peaks your interest about international commerce?

I just wanna do whatever everyone else does. Maybe buy some things, sell some things. from an IRL standpoint I'm not really tuned in on economics

Best way to start is buying things, so you have the right idea.

When being a customer, put in as much info as you can, even when it's just a basic application offered to fill out. That's part of RP on GE&T is to put enough in there to be unique, kind of tell a story about why you need the product/services, and encourage the storefront owner to make a unique response to your needs/requests instead of a cookie-cutter response. If they require an IC cover letter, that opens up even more possibility to expand on all that I just mentioned.

So, in short, you should think about what some agency, company, or individual, from your nation would need and would a substantial amount of the product change the circumstances of the buyer group or nation - i.e. Would a certain amount tanks, naval vessels, and jet fighters swing the balance in your favor in a current war you have going?

How well would such goods fit in with a cultural preference of your people? For instance, do they love kelp so much, and it's such an integral part of your cuisine, that Khele Sea Farms products will instantly become popular when introduced into your national market?

Those are things to think about when you patronize storefronts on GE&T, in order for both you, and the storefront owner, to get the most out of the RP experience.

Advertise, the most basic bit of which is to include a link to your atorefront in your signature.

Also if you are involved on ns motorsport, which you seem to be, do everything you can to push your car company brand (which of course you will need to more fully develop with insignia and badges).

One thing I would say is that in NS as in real life cars are very much sold on looks so pictures will be very important. Try to avoid using rl images as that can lead to people just dissmissing your stuff as rip offs or just the rl stuff itself. Images don't need to be spectacular but should be enough to make your stuff look unique. Maybe try starting with side elevation line drawings of the cars you imagine your stuff to be like and make changes to bring the result closer to what you envision. Of course your art/3d modeling skills could be far beyond that so feel free to do what works for you illustration wise.
As with advertising on ns motor sports stuff use the motor sports stuff on your store front, anything to hold more attention and generate intrest in visitors.

Have a question regarding the training of Iraqi engineers with Yugoslavian ones in the 80's that first started the AK production in the Tabuk factories. How were the Yugoslavian engineers treated? If anything harmful thing happen to them how would Zavesta and Yugoslavia respond?
I'm asking because I had bad experience with other nation states on here regarding business dealings with other NationStates on this website regarding similar matters.

Yes.

This isn't like NS General or some other forums where a thread is considered dead within a week or two. Also, as you are the OP, you have every right to resurrect an RP thread, even if it's been years since the last post.

Going to assume those are original designs, so good work!

1. Flesh things out - more stats per weapon.
2. More backstory on the company and its developers.
3. More history on the usage of King Armaments.
4. Think about weaponry that is niche and not widely represented on GE&T - develop that.
5. Reserve additional posts ASAP before anyone responds to your thread. You will want posts for expansion, should your storefront and your interest last past this week.

EDIT: So the storefront is deleted. Not sure why, but good luck to you.
