Mr. Daniel Chasanpour
Airport Manager
Chin Hei Mengteng International Airport
Dear Mr. Chasanpour,
I would like to inform you that I have received your notice regarding our supposed conflict of interest through the merger with Wuriyan Airways. We at Valkea Airlines are going to look into the matter regarding any violations that are stated in the Mengteng Criminal Code and the Commercial Aviation Code, as well as cooperate wherever possible with the authorities.
Noting that the Office of the Attorney-General expects a reply from us within seven days of the issuance of this notice, I am glad to provide any clarification regarding the terms of the merger in this response.
Firstly, the merger entails the integration of Wuriyan Airways into Valkea Airlines instead of incorporating it as an airline subsidiary. Wuriyan Airways has already ceased its operations during the negotiation of the merger, and so similar services will be incorporated or phased out in favor of our own respective services.
Secondly, Wuriyan Airways' international routes that have been given over to Valkea Airlines will only apply to routes that aren't already covered by Valkea Airlines' own international route network. Noting this, our airline will still operate one route between Varen Livet and Mengteng when the merger takes effect.
We will provide further clarification to your offices and the offices of the Mengteng Aviation Authority if requested. Once again, we will cooperate wherever possible with the authorities to resolve these issues. Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Emilia Tarvainen
President and CEO
Valkea Airlines Group
