AS it is well-known, the Allanean government and companies related to Allanean interstellar trade have extensively utilized the Menelmacari-made Vingilot and Megavingilot cargo transports for both interstellar trade and, more importantly, internal logistics pertaining to colonial infrastructure buildup for the Great Migration, the Allanean path outward from Earth and to planets Milky Way galaxy as well as extragalactically in the Skyriver Galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy, and elsewhere. However, the strict control the Menelmacari had placed on some of the interior controls of the Vingilot, as well as, quite obviously, the simple pressures of market competition, have always meant that it would be inevitable for the Allaneans to develop their own craft.
This craft is the Númerrámar. Named after the Numenorean ship once used by Tar-Aldarion, the Mariner, in his journeys between Numenor and Middle Earth. It shares key design principles with the Vingilot, although they are implemented here using fairly limited Allanean technology. No patented Menelmacari technologies are used in the construction of the Númerrámar unlawfully, due to a desire by Allanean Arms to avoid lawsuits (lawsuits which would be rapidly won by a Menelmacari attorney were Allanean Arms to actually break the law). However, an astute observer would clearly notice the inspiration.
The Númerrámar is a modular craft, constructed in sections. In the container-carrier variant of the ship, the sections are designed to carry enormous, semi-autonomous containers (or if one chooses to call them this, landing craft), designated GOCSs – Gravitic Orbital Supercontainers. These are, essentially, vast boxes, approximately 125 x 40 x 40 meters in size – or in other words, with about the TEU capacity of an Earthside Panamax freighter. On a standard Númerrámar, each section holds 1,936 of these supercontainers, and as one can see, the Númerrámar holds six sections. Upon arrival at a planet, the supercontainers are capable of minimal gravitic maneuver (enough for orbital re-entry, station docking, and suchlike). Hypothetically, they could be converted and used for short-distance intrasystem travel, but this is not what they are designed for.

As many Allanean designs, the Númerrámar is intended to be as reliable as a sledgehammer. It is capable of athmospheric operations without direct damage to the craft (although damage to the craft can still occur if one crashes, naturally), it is capable of landing on unprepared flat surfaces and even on water, and other such operations.

The Númerrámar carries limited armament to contend with pirates, interstellar megafauna, and so forth. It utilizes a crew of 20 men whose primary purpose is cargo management, as well as carries an onboard stock of 500 non-sapient combat droids (held folded) as well as beds and rooms for up to 1200 additional passengers in non-cryosleep conditions, or 12,000 in cryosleep. Cryosleep equipment is only supplied for 1,000 beds. These can augment shipboard security if needed. (Note that this is not the maximum capacity of the Númerrámar. The GOSC supercontainers can be refitted as troopships, or the entire ship can be refitted as a giant personnel transport, in which case its personnel capacity can be best described with the single word ‘enormous’,
Beyond this, variations exist that are of interest to the consumer or the ship enthusiast:

Númerrámar-H – Designated for the Quenya word haura, or huge, this ship is an enormous 10.8 kilometers long and five hundred meters wide and tall. Carrying more than 58,000 supercontainers, it is capable of maintaining vast quantities of cargo all at once.

Númerrámar-M – For the Quenya word Melamar or ‘home’, this ship is a variant of the Númerrámar with the GOCS docks replaced with single, non-modular, housing options for transport of enormous quantities of settlers, evacuees, or troops. Asëa – A hospital ship on the Númerrámar-Q body.
Numerramar-QT - A troopship, on the Númerrámar-Q body capable of carrying up to 16,300,000 humanoids on a 14-day journey.
