HISTORY
The corporation was founded by Marián Nováček, member of former nobles who in 1944 fled the country due to the communist revolution. Marián was twenty-one years old when this happen. When they were in exile, his father MarekNováček invested much of their remaining wealth into multiple various companies. Fortunately, one of the investitions, namely into Romaika Anthraka Etaireia AE, has paid off greatly and Marek reacted by increasing his share in the corporation and the entire family moved to Romaia, where it was headquartered. Even though Marek was able to persuade the Board of the Directors to appoint Marián as one of the vice-presidents, the leadership became more and more favourise native shareholders and employees.
In 1976, two years after the death of Marek, the counter-revolution has begun and corrupt Stalinist regime very quickly crumbled. This was the moment when Marián decided to sell his stocks and return to Radimostan, where a new democratic government was formed and a privatisation of previously state-owned assets began. He bought multiple mines in Tesland, northern region and one of the states of current Federative Republic. They were obviously decimated by an ineffectiveness of centrally planned economy, but with an experience gained in Romaika Anthraka Etaireia AE, and a bit of luck, Marián made them thriving once again.

Unfortunately, the founder Mr Nováček died in 2002, at the age of seventy-seven years. Now his daughter and his only living offspring runs the company, her younger brother who was originally supposed to continue in father's business died in a car accident. Even though she is married, her father referred his share precisely to her. After all, she has been taught by Marián almost since The Mines of Tesland Ltd. began its existence. She has a personal experience actins as the President of the corporation.
Erika Bernardová currently owns 63% of the stocks.
President (COO): Mr Henrich Bartoš
Mr Bartoš was a former member of junior management of one of the mines during the socialism. Even though he worked excellently, it was not possible for him to continue his career growth, because he was not a member of the Communist Party. Fortunately for him and many others, the communist government fell. After 1976 he quickly a climbed through ranks and very soon was named as one of the Vice-Presidents. When Mr Nováček died and Ms Bernardová became Executive Director, there were no questions about who would fill the vacant position of the President.

Bauxite:
When The Mines Of Tesland Ltd. started, the coal was supposed to fuel the corporation's rapid growth, but very soon bauxite became more and more important for the company. This importance began to grow as Radimostan and many other nations focused to end the dependence on fossil fuels. Many of the mines operated by us are thus bauxite mines, and bauxite is responsible for 58% of our revenue and it is more than probable that this number will increase. Even now, a large portion of the Radimostanian aluminium is made thanks to us.
Coal:
Coal is the secondary resource mined by TMOT Ltd. As it was said most of our focus is on bauxite mining, nevertheless coal mining is very important for us and for Teslandian economy and culture as well. Two-thirds percent of our coal mines are mining black coal, while the rest is focused on mining the brown coal. The production for both these types of coal is responsible for 34% of our total revenue.
Oil and Natural Gas:
The Mines of Tesland Ltd. entered the Oil and Natural Gas fairly recently. In 2006 our first oil rig was build in southern part of Tesland. The reserves here are very small this also why most of the oil and natural gas are imported. These rigs were partially subsidized by the Teslandian government in order to make the state less dependant on foreign trade. Even though the subsidization ended and rest of the plan was abandoned, we still own many of our original oil rigs, the operation of them already provided us with worthy experience and we are planning to expand our Oil and Natural Gas division overseas. It is already responsible for 8% of our revenue.

Mining Operations Contract - Contract us to mine resources for you, all of them will go directly to your hands. Because we are assured that our products will find its consumer the price per unit will be lower.
