Around the world, there are numerous private military contractors providing national militaries and corporations with military logistics and training services, as well as outright aid in waging wars. In some cases, thousands of mercenaries are thrown into battle on behalf of some dictator or another. Lacking sadly in the international security market, however, is a market in peacetime security guard services.
Musashi Security Services Ltd. leverages the international experience of Allaneans, Imerians, and others to provide high-quality security services to your business, government facility, or even your home or gated community. We are here to protect your hotel, restaurant, warehouse or shipyard from threats ranging from terrorist attacks, to robberies, to the humble shoplifter.

For this purpose, we have a range of different services available to you. You will find below a broad guide to the type of services and qualifications possessed by Musashi Security personnel
Tier 0 Security Guard: These are unarmed security personnel (in some circumstances they may carry non-lethal weaponry, depending on customer demands). At a minimum, Tier 0 Security Guards undergo training in the laws of the relevant country they have. Minimum requirements for service as a Tier 0 Security Guard are a clean bill of physical health and a lack of major criminal records.
Tier 0 Security Personnel are themselves divided in levels of training, from personnel whose mere presence on the scene is required, but do not have the authority to use physical force (such as hotel lobby clerks, unarmed security in certain stores and hotels, etc.) to well-trained individuals capable of physically restraining unarmed suspects and responding to brawls and minor violent incidents. Bar bouncers fall into this category.
Tier 0 Security Personnel are themselves divided in levels of training, from personnel whose mere presence on the scene is required, but do not have the authority to use physical force (such as hotel lobby clerks, unarmed security in certain stores and hotels, etc.) to well-trained individuals capable of physically restraining unarmed suspects and responding to brawls and minor violent incidents. Tier 1 Security Guard: These are armed security personnel armed with basic non-lethal and lethal firearms (such as pistols and shotguns). They undergo regular refresher training in all weapons use every year. A clean bill of health and a lack of criminal records is required for employment as a Tier 1 Security Guard. These security guards are typically employed in low-threat environment where use of force may still be required, such as schools, hotels, and businesses.
Tier 2 Security Guard: This is the tier of security guards employed in situations where there exists an ongoing threat of force. They secure schools, universities, and hospitals from terrorist and criminal threats, as well as respond to violent brawls within the facility. A military or law enforcement service record or training certificate from a qualified Allanean private institution is required for employment as a Tier 2 Security Guard. All employees, regardless of previous service, undergo a three-week training course upon enrollment, rehearsing security procedures, usage of basic screening equipment, hand-to-hand combatives, weapons-use etc. They are armed with pistols or better weapons, to the finest level legal in the host country.

Tier 3 Security Guards: This is the tier of security guards used in high-value, high-threat situations, such as protecting infrastructure, airports, and transit terminals from terrorist attacks. Minimum service requirements include service in combat units in the Allanean, Imerian, or other reputable military force. A two-month training course, including weapons use, hand-to-hand combat, and usage of screening equipment, is included here. Weaponry typically includes pistols, but submachineguns and rifles can be issued where legal, subject to the regulations of the host government.

Tier 3 Security Guards at a training range
Tier 4 Security Guards: These security guards protect high-value, high-threat targets, including power plants, border crossings, and central government installations. Armed at the finest levels legally available (although Musashi Security Services will not provide services where reasonable arrangements cannot be made with the host government), these are veterans of infantry and special operations service in reputable countries’ militaries. They undergo extensive training and training.[/align]

HVT Bodyguards: We provide bodyguard services for celebrities, political candidates, journalists and key political officials. This is only provided for situations of serious risk, and only where the use of armed bodyguards is permitted, by individuals with Personal Protection Training and experience.

Private Law Enforcement: For a reasonable fee, we will provide a private law enforcement service to a town or other authorized jurisdiction. All our personnel provided for this purpose are trained, at a minimum, as Tier 2 security guards, as well as having additional law enforcement experience and training. We can also work as an auxiliary to a government police service, in such roles as event security, local code enforcement, and house arrest enforcement.
Security Officers: In any facility where more than 2 of our bodyguards are retained, Musashi Security Services will also provide a Security Officer to oversee all security procedures for the facility. The Officer will be armed with a pistol, and possess qualified security training and experience in the law enforcement and/or military, as well as the security industry. The Security Officer ensures also the guards present will comply with the legal and security regulations of both the host country, the client, and Musashi Security Ltd., to include on-site inspections of the guards, their equipment, and weapons.
Tactical Response Teams: Where the client desires it, for example in large facilities such as university campi and shopping malls, a small team of Tier 1 or higher security employees can be established, to respond to alerts at any of the guard posts. TRTs can also be established centrally in any major urban area where there are 4 or more Mushashi Ltd. locations, and can respond to alarms at any of our locations.

Alarm and Surveillance Systems Installation: We can install an alarm or surveillance system at a business or facility, with or without attending security guard. When an intruder is detected, we can contact law enforcement and/or deploy Mushashi Ltd. employees.[/align]

It should be noted that our serivices do not come cheap. We pay our employees a wage comparable to a security professional’s pay in a first-world country, together with an additional fee for relocation. When we employ local work (usually we do not hire local work in positions higher than Tier 2 unless working in a reputable location), we pay our employees well, even if working in a developing country. When hiring in developing countries, we pay our employees a wage of at least 500 Menelmacari Credits (1000 Universal Standard Dollars) a month for working a 40-hour work week at a Tier 0. Please be understanding of our price structures, which are priced accordingly.

OOC: For simplicity’s sake, I have not attempted to make detailed pricing available for all services. The exact sums would be worked out by Musashi Security Ltd. specialists after a study of each project, which means I cannot possibly work it out for each RPer. Be reasonable, please.
Generally speaking, this is not a war storefront or a mercenary storefront. Please do not attempt to use the manpower hired in here to fight in any wars. The assumption should be that Musashi Ltd. will refuse to deploy its security guards to fight in any conflicts, and so will individual guards. If you would like to have an RP where Musashi Ltd. employees are killed, attacked, or involved in a major conflict, please inform me of it so we can come to an arrangement.
