Activities & Vibrancy
While Kingsgate is known more for its industry and space center, it, in fact, is a thriving metropolitan city with an active downtown. While many cities across ViZion, including the capital city, skip government-funded transit systems, Kingsgate uses city-raised taxes to build out its city-wide rail system and fund bus and taxi services.
Meanwhile, the land-locked industrial city also enjoys the impressive space-theme Skyward Theme Park - notably the second largest in the country, behind only Vitalita's own World Park.
Richard Wilson Space Center
The Richard Wilson Space Center, located at the southern edge of the City of Kingston, is renown the world over and boasts the title of the largest in ViZion. This impressive, modern space center houses five massive launching pads for the largest of space launches, while also giving home to several smaller launching stations for smaller missions and equipment. Kingsgate International Airport (KGX)
Kingsgate International Airport is one of the larger airports in the ViZionarian state of Astyria. Four terminals, each home to 30 gates, are able to handle the current traffic. However, as the projected growth of Kingsgate shows skyrocketing air travel, KGX is in the planning stages of adding two more terminals for international and regional air traffic.
